Loved this stay! The property is a short walk to the best swimming beach in La Jolla, we got a free upgrade, the room was updated and clean, breakfast was more than dry cereal and bananas! They were renovating the breakfast room but in San Diego why would you want to eat anywhere besides outside anyway? Plenty of nice breakfast tables by the pool. If I had any criticism or request it would be nice to have more places to hang things in the bathroom. There weren’t many places to hang anything anyway, and with a property near the beach you need even more spots than usual. Great stay though, we have no reason not to return!

It’s a beautiful place to visit my only complaint was the hotel was under construction other than that I would definitely recommend it. And stay there again. Walking distance to the beach 🏖️ 👍

Nobody advertised, notified us rhey were draining the pool while we were there and not able to use it. Huge issue. No notification at booking or check in pool was being drained. Advertised pool and pool area w tables and lounge chairs. Closed.

There were old mattresses sitting about 5 feet away from our rooms front door. That was gross. Something small but significant also was the quality of the towels in the room. They were old and looked OLD and used.

Location was perfect, allowing short walk to beach...but also had free parking and breakfast!

The service was amazing! Love the newly renovated rooms! Flexible check in and check out; stellar breakfast and beach is so accessible and close to the famous Taco stand in La Jolla.

The staff and in particular Josef were extremely helpful . The room cleaning could have been better but the front desk staff took care of that. The breakfasts were EXCELLENT! Very good advice on restaurants given by the front desk staff. The pool was clean and inviting. Thank you!

Property wasn’t very clean but very helpful and friendly staff.

Overall it is a nice property. It is located right on the main street, which is very convenient. The rooms are nice and larger. The bathroom is also very spacious. The beds are large and comfortable. Having fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room is very convenient. But it is an older property and has that typical smell. Perhaps replacing the carper will help solve the problem. The parking spots are very tight. Overall it is a fairly decent property.
