The only issue was the washing of the walkway above my unit left dripping soapy water for an hour and a puddle of of water in front of my door that was still there when I checked out at noon.

Liked every thing but the parking, last year we had our parking in front of our room, no one parked in front of our room but us, we had to park far from our room this year!

I absolutely loved this place! First off, its very rare nowadays to find a spot that has complementary breakfast included, but this place does! And the food options are great as well. The room we stayed in had everything we needed, super clean, and comfortable. The staff was great as well. We checked in late at night and Jay at the front desk was awesome at checking us in quickly and efficiently, and we got to our room rather quickly. Overall, we are definitely coming back.

Darkest hotel room I've ever stayed in and I'm 70 years old. Very dark even on a sunny SoCal day with every light in the room turned on. Just 1 night but couldn't wait to get out of there.

Great location, staff and amenities!

The manager (I forgot his name), but he was a thin hispanic man (worked on Friday 7/17 at 4:30pm), did an excellent job of accommodating our needs. I even saw him picking up trash at times to help maintain the property. The breakfast staff was also so so accommodating. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it!!!

Room needs some updating. The springs on the pull out bed we quite evident. Other than that the sheets were clean, the room tidy. I liked the 4p check in and 12 pm check out.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Had a little bit of a smell when you walked in but it went away after a while

More than we hoped for

We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite had a full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, and pans, along with a dishwasher, and an ice maker in the fridge! There were 2 levels with 2 bathrooms with plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out. Very important with 3 kids and 2 adults. The kids enjoyed the pool as it was only 5ft at the deepest so they felt more comfortable. Breakfast service was a nice variety, and the cold brew coffee was a lovely addition. All in all, 5*.

The location was one of the best parts of the hotel. It was conveniently located near the freeway, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The coffee was also decent and a nice way to start the day. However, the hotel felt overpriced for what it offered. The food was underwhelming, and our room was not as clean as it should have been upon arrival. The property and guest rooms are also showing their age and could benefit from updates and renovations. While the hotel advertises spacious suites and amenities, the overall condition of the room did not match the premium price we paid. Overall, the location was convenient, but between the high cost, mediocre food, cleanliness concerns, and dated rooms, I would likely consider other options for a future trip to La Jolla.
-
Overall there are no complaints. Property was clean. Breakfast was good. The complex is pretty big, but there was plenty of parking and it was quiet
-
Little bit older Residence Inn but clean and well kept.
-
It was close to UCSD We were charged additional fees beyond what was listed on our Booking reservation.
