This is our third time staying at Hotel Joaquin and it’s always amazing. Kent and his team along with the pool, views and drinks make this our go to staycation spot in Laguna for a relaxing rewind. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went out of their way to remember our names, which made us feel truly welcome. We also loved the clean rooms and the stunning beach view, and the bar was the perfect spot to unwind.

The staff was genuinely kind and couldn't have be more accommodating, and that's coming from someone who travels 5-6 times a year. We got an upgrade without even asking, and felt comfortable from the time we arrived. Great location and a terrific place to unwind and reset, even if for a night. We'll definitely be coming back. 5 Stars!

We went for our anniversary. Perfect spots with no kids. Felt like staying at a friend’s beach house. Beds are excellent. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

This is a quaint, fun, and beautiful hotel once you get into it. Don't judge it by the street view; rather, once you get inside and see it, you'll love it. The rooms are nicely laid out, and there is a fun turntable for playing LP's in each room. The hotel has a music library, so if you want to listen to classics, R&B, rock, jazz, and blues, it's all there to borrow. Breakfast is easy every morning, and the garden and pool area is comfortable and nice. And it's an easy walk into town, or you can jump on the Laguna Beach Trolley, which is free just around the corner from the hotel that will take you almost everywhere, into town, up to the Pageant of the Masters site and to the Sawdust festival. Super easy. The staff is super attentive, and Jonas at the Bar will make you a killer drink. Go and enjoy!

A very quaint and special hotel. Felt like you were transported back in time. Should be more well-known than it is, definitely a hidden gem.

This hotel is one I regularly visit from Los Angeles as a solo traveler. It’s truly a special little sanctuary and I haven’t yet found another place like it. It’s such a great spot to relax in, to feed your soul, and to take in all the beauty of Laguna. The property and staff are incredible and always make it feel like a cozy home they’re welcoming you into. From the quiet but carefully curated rooms to the breathtaking ocean views to the salt water pool and record players humming in the background, you’ll feel the magic of its vibe throughout and it’ll leave a lasting impression on your heart. This is a place you must experience once to truly understand its impact.

Not it. They have some work to do. With lightbulbs out, no option to open the only window (unless you want everyone to see in your room that walks by), no TV, exposed waterlines in the shower and rust it’s a miss. I wanted this place to be nice- truly. But I left a day early it was not relaxing or even nice enough to stay with all these flaws.

Incredible stay, it exceeded our expectations, everything was better than the photos, which isn't common! The staff was 10/10
