Aston Kaanapali Shores

Everything goes so nice. We loved their swimming pool. It was right on the beach and everything was good.

We stayed in a 2bdrm ocean front suite and it was perfect! The suit was very clean and the view was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! The staff were very friendly and super helpful. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant. Not a ton of options but what they did have was good. Loved the ease of getting pool/beach towels and snorkel/boogyboard rentals. We saw countless sea turtles and a monk seal came up on the beach one morning. If we come back to Maui we would absolutely stay here again. You can not beat the price for what you get!!!

All was very nice! Smaller than other hotels but room was spacious and clean! Little dated inside but typical for the reasonable prices!!

Rooms are definitely dated and in need of a refresh. No real blackout shades and walls are thin. Beach isn’t very big.

Aston Kāʻanapali Shores is a well-located oceanfront resort in West Maui with easy beach and dining access. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, many with full kitchens and ocean views. The front desk staff provides excellent, welcoming customer service that stands out. The property also offers good amenities, including pools, beachfront access, and tropical grounds. Overall, it’s a reliable and relaxing place to stay in Maui.

The property was located right on the beach for easy access. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Additionally, the restaurant onsite was very good.

We stayed in a two bedroom garden view room but we’re still be able to see the ocean from the room and had a plenty room for five of us.

Hotel was amazing. The staff was great kid friendly pool nice beach.

The only thing I liked was that it was close to beach . Everything else was poor or terrible. We were told that we had to leave our room for the day because our floor had to be sprayed for bugs ! The staff didn’t seem to care . Why didn’t they give us a room on a different floor . Outdoor pool had what they called cabanas for a fee ?! They were just cushioned chairs instead of metal ones .

The beach was nice but large rocks about 10 yards off shore made it really not swimmable. The bus runs every hour down to Whaler Village where the ocean swimming much better. Nice pools, just not much of an ocean swimming resort.

Nice entry/lobby area, Clean room, good views, good amenities, two pools, nice outdoor poolside restaurant, very nice staff, great location, reasonably priced, room was a little outdated, right on beach but not the best for swimming/snorkeling. Very nice place and had a great time.

This location was great! Clean and beautiful views, the staff were very friendly. It had activities in the morning in the downstairs area, but it was way more laid back than some of the other resorts.

Gives home away from home with resort amenities. No big crowds. Chill and relaxing vibes. Peaceful gardens. Booked a 1 bedroom for our family of 4, full kitchen, washer/dryer and living room was the perfect space.

Hotel was clean with a perfect view of the ocean.

Great value! The location is great, nice to have the restaurant/bar, pools were great, beach access was fantastic. Only con was the room was a little dated, but honestly that is me nitpicking. Looking forward to our next visit.
