Close to everywhere we wanted to go, easy in/out parking, clean facility. Great for family of 5 with 2 adult kids. Kitchen cooking utensils/pots/pans are sparse, and the unit was very dated, but everything worked.

Staff was always friendly and helpful....... Loved the tiki torches at night, and the sunsets will blow you away!!!!!! My daughter snorkeled right off the beach chasing a turtle around all week. I really couldn't think of a better place to go with family, nothing was "over crowded", we felt right at home. I don't think you can find an overall better place to stay during your visit to Maui.

Great location. They were of a great help along with concierge. We use their pickleball courts which came with the daily fee..the weight room was nice but there was a fee to use.. We will come back here and stay the next time we come. Overall great experience.

Great location , beautiful beach right on resort and staff was amazing! Absolutely love it and will visit again.

Ideal for families! We are a family of 5, 3 teenagers. We could spend time as a family and had separate spaces for down time. The property is amazing! So beautiful! Two pool areas and the beach front offers much for fun and relaxation! Would return in a heartbeat!

The property is a bit old, but it was okay. They have private beach access

No room service is provided. The rooms are outdated and found bugs in bedroom. Had a room change due to having excessive bugs however still experienced bugs in the next room. Later saw pest control memo posted scheduled for floors 3 and 4. When the rooms with bugs I experienced were located in 7th floor and 9th floor.

Room was outdated and dirty. Second to last day a cockroach fell down from the cabinet. We traveled with a big group and they seemed to have cleaner room. It’s sits on a great location for shopping and eatery but the beach is next to the runoff. For being our first time in Maui we definitely learned a lot and will not be choosing this location again.

The gym is not free. Not enough trash cans on the property.

Peaceful and clean resort. We enjoyed our stay a great deal.

I didn’t like the parking cost. I am a paying guest and I have to pay for parking! That doesn’t make sense.

Beachfront and convenient location. Safe and quiet at night. Our condo did not have blackout curtains in the main bedroom but did have them in the living area. Made it more difficult to sleep.

Swam and rose petals on our bed. Such a nice touch. The property is really nice. We traveled with a 15 year old and he enjoyed the pool area. The sunset view and the beach front were beautiful. Overall a great stay.

On beach close to a lot of stores. Remember you still have to pay resort fee and parking at checkout

Friendly and efficient staff

The resort was everything that was promised. The property is well maintained. The views were stunning. On site amenities are reasonable and easy to access. The location was convenient to many area attractions.

The beach in front of the hotel has contaminated water. There is a sign up from Maui county warning not to swim in the water on the beach. I think the hotel should let you know this prior to booking. This is disappointing to me as a snorkeler I thought we were getting a hotel with easy swimable beach access. The room smelled very strongly of something perfume like which set my daughters asthma off so we weren’t able to stay for our two nights as planned. We left after four hours. We had pre-paid for two nights so very disappointing.

We enjoyed staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores. I looked for an apartment style hotel that had kitchen and washer/dryer. Breakfast at the hotel can be expensive and since we don't eat a lot, we preferred to cook simple breakfast in the room. Kitchen was well equipped and updated. I did hope they had some cooking oil - we had to buy sticks of butter that we only used very little. We had an ocean view room with spacious lanai which was perfect. Having garage access from the floor we were staying in was very convenient.
