Location and grounds were nice and clean The rooms look outdated , there were small bugs crawling around in the bathroom and shower not sure if that’s normal or if it’s termites or what . Also there’s no housekeeping services and no restaurant choices to choose from.

We had a 36 hour power outage during our stay, and my wife and I felt like the communication was very poor from management. Virtually it was zero. We had to take the initiative and tap into public info, but still it went have been very helpful to be guided and shown additional support from management, and this absolutely did not happen.

We lost power the day after we got there and got it back about 48 hours later. We bought food to save money and couldn’t use it till the day before we left. But other than that it was amazing.

This is the 5th time that I've stayed at Aston Kaanapali Shores and each time I truly enjoy my stay. Very kind and welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious and the views are amazing. Looking forward to coming back again.

Overall place was amazing, few minor things, like finding dirty sheet tucked into the bed and a blood stained pillow case. AC didn’t cool down the bedroom as well as the rest of the suite. Power was out for a day but not to the hotels fault, weather and a fire our out of their control. Had a lovely stay, got engaged! The beach was beautiful and the environment was very nice and relaxing. Loved it here despite the few bumps in the road.

We had the penthouse we celebrated my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. The scenery is beautiful and I enjoyed it very much.

The unit was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean! My requests were all provided and appreciated!! The lagoon pool was fantastic. Wished they served cocktails there. The other pool where they did have cocktails was a boring rectangle and the cocktails were just ok.

The only downside, which is completely out of the resort’s control, is that the beach directly behind the resort is relatively small and, as a result, can get pretty crowded. That said, we even had the opportunity to see a monk seal come onto the beach and relax for a little while, which was such a cool experience! The resort also has plenty of little shops that carry almost everything you could need, making it extremely convenient for anyone who isn’t renting a car. The fact that the rooms have full kitchens is another huge plus, and having a supermarket just down the street makes everything even more convenient. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this resort. We absolutely loved our stay and are already excited to hopefully come back soon!

Great room, very spacious, and very nice to have the suite with a kitchen. The balcony with ocean view was really nice. The pool was also great. This was a great property and perfect for our 2 night stay.

Overall, this is a good property and we loved the location. Our main complaints were that the bed was too soft for our preference, the hot tub was lukewarm rather than hot, and there was a somewhat musty smell in the unit. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
