OUTRIGGER Kaanapali Beach Resort

We used to stay at the Hyatt but it’s over a mile long walk to the Whalers village. For the price there is no better property, we can say that because we have been going to Maui 1-2 times a year for the last twenty five years.

Easy, clean, straight forward hotel.

Hotel very clean although it does show its age. It was hard to get cool water in the shower. The shower apparatus was not user-friendly; I would have preferred a simpler design.

We found the hotel to be very clean. The staff have to be very friendly. We bought the breakfast package to eat at the Maui brewing Company every day and it was excellent and the view of the ocean can’t be beat.

The rooms were clean and we loved our host Lyn. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

Absolutely stunning report. We will be back.

Breakfast at the Maui Brewing Co was excellent

It was close to all the fun activities. M. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

This was a fabulous location! Everything was wonderful! The pool is eh, but my daughter and I wanted a beach location and it was perfect. We were able to walk to many dinners, the breakfast voucher was amazing and we had a great trip. Highly recommend this hotel and location. Miss Maui already!

I property could use some upgrades. The pool was old and slimey. The room was supposed to be a partial ocean view but it was literally a view of the side of a building. The staff was no help, only offered to move me for an additional 90$ a night. It was an average place but definitely not worth what I paid. The location was nice.

This is our second time to visit this resort and have enjoyed it ever much. The best part about this resort is the view of the beach and the access. Kaanapali Is one of the beaches best beaches in Maui! Great access, and great staff!

The room was great and had a balcony. Although I paid for a partial ocean view, being on the 2nd floor only gave a sliver of ocean between the trees. The beach was awesome, beautiful clear blue waters and lots of activities available to do. We stopped at Wal-mart and bought pool noodles (the bigger ones) and they worked great in the ocean. The staff was very friendly and greeted us everytime we ran into one of them. We went to Maui Brewery on the resort grounds a few times for breakfast and dinner, the food and drinks were delicious. Don't forget to participate in the Lei ceremony on the day you leave. It was very sweet. The only thing I didnt like was even though I paid to stay in the resort, I had a daily parking fee of $25 for self parking. This was not mentioned on Expedia. So apon arrival, I was told of the parking fees which was an additional $200.

Area is very clean and near a shopping center with restaurants and stores.

Room was clean and ac was already on upon arrival all of the staff was helpful and very generous view from garden room never disappoints the buffet for breakfast was temporarily shut down due to property upgrades and renovations but Maui brewing company took over for them and it was good with nice options

Superb service with many complimentary activities. Walking distance to restaurants and the mall. Food is average, but the view is excellent.

The staff were fantastic. The view was great. The room was clean for the price on the strip that it was on. It was fantastic. We highly recommend for anyone wanting to go to Maui, be in a great place, be treated nice and not spend a fortune. I suggest walking next-door to one of the lovely restaurants like monkey pod kitchen, doing the road to Hannah trip with Emma… I’ve booked it through Polynesian, but I believe that she works for Road to Hana. Do a sunset cruise and watch all the boats come in from the beach.

The location couldn’t be better—right on the beautiful sands of Kā’anapali Beach with incredible ocean views and easy access to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The resort has a relaxed, authentic Hawaiian atmosphere that made our trip feel special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially loved watching the sunsets from the beach each evening. The cultural activities offered throughout the day were a great touch and helped make our stay even more memorable.
