Property itself was beautiful. Views were great. Rooms need major upgrades. Had to move rooms because AC wasn’t working in first room. Had to call maintenance in second room AC stopped working. Prices for meals are OUTRAGEOUS. $100 for breakfast buffet for 2 adults.

Beautiful well maintained property on the best part of Kanapali beach. Very nice pool and beach. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend an ocean front room. It is worth the extra money. Very close to Whalers Village with shops and some great dining options. There is a free shuttle from the hotel. Car rental available at the hotel. Dining options are good but pricy. Try other options for breakfast as it was good but not worth $100.00 for 2. Would recommend this hotel while in Maui

What a gorgeous hotel and pools! With snorkeling, sailing, luau and restaurants on premises we had plenty to do! 100% Recommended!

Great stay for the price, clean, large property, large rooms with ocean view balcony's, lots of availability to get a seat at the pool, convenient location in Maui, walkable to Whaler's Village restaurants, and the largest amount of beachfront which became important when a hurricane removed sand and sidewalks from nearby hotels beachfront access. If you plan to chill at the resort this is a good value. Great service at bars and restaurants. Driving to Southern sites like road to Hana, Gold Pineapple Plantation, Ocean Vodka, Maui Winery, and Wilea are a bit far but worth staying in this less pricy high value location.

Location, Location, Location!!! Great accessibility & walkable to nightlife & restaurants. LOVE this resort! Staff is available to golf cart you to the Whalers Village. Very well kept!

The service was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and willing to help from the moment we arrived. Our original room did not have the partial ocean view we had reserved, so the front desk promptly moved us. When we found the mattresses too soft, the staff changed our room again and even had the housemen reinforce the beds to make us more comfortable. Their patience and dedication alone deserve five stars. The resort was also beautiful, clean, and well organized. The pools were maintained every night, and all the restaurants and the buffet offered excellent food. The mattresses were much softer than we prefer and were not very comfortable. However, the staff went above and beyond to find a solution for us.

This was honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed at before. Beautiful location, excellent amenities, amazing breakfast buffet, great pool, great beach, lot of things to do, extremely accommodating and friendly staff, I could go on and on, but I enjoyed the experience tremendously and want to thank all the staff for making it an awesome and relaxing vacation Only potential improve is to have a fitness center room, but otherwise no complaints

You can’t beat the location.. it’s our second time returning and truly, it was for nostalgic purposes returning as a family. It’s the perfect size and has a great pool. The beach on black rock is great for snorkeling. The staff is terrific, I had a problem with our original room and a quick call to the front desk and it was fixed immediately. The rooms could definitely update to not have carpet, that is definitely a deterrent for me personally. But the grounds is lovely. Food is mediocre at best, no flavor. The cost of the resort as a whole is expensive personally but Hawaii def surprised us this time as astronomical. Huge shoutout to Noah who had exemplary hospitality (the ocean front was spectacular!) and the original check in employee who sent us a treat for our anniversary. Maholo!!

The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a prime location - right next to the black rock beach and within short walking distance from the Whalers Village with many shops and restaurants. Highly recommended !
