Seeing all the animals were nice

The staff came across as rude and unwelcoming, particularly at the bar. The bartenders did very little to create a warm or hospitable atmosphere, which significantly affected the overall experience. The property itself feels dated and in need of much better upkeep. The plastic drinkware was noticeably worn and should have been replaced long ago. Drinks were served with poor-quality ice, tables and other surfaces felt sticky, and the overall attention to cleanliness and presentation in the common areas was disappointing. There also seemed to be very little thought given to the condition, setup, and basic comfort of the guest rooms. There was not even a single bottle of water provided in the room, and the refrigerator was completely empty with no beverages available. These may seem like small details, but they contribute significantly to the guest experience and are particularly noticeable at a property positioning itself at a higher level of hospitality. We did not request an ADA-accessible room, yet we were initially placed in one without any prior notice or explanation. Guests should at least be informed of this before being assigned a room with a substantially different layout. The balcony doors also require serious maintenance. The door was so difficult to operate.

Nice place. Ocean front room nicely done, location is great, center of Kanalipali, multiple eating places close, whales village next door for shopping and their VIP lounge is worth the extra cost. Morning and nightly light buffets are worth the extra cost. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Amazing stay

Unbeatable location close to village and shops and dining Lots of corners to sit and chill, and pools and great view It was very hard to find shade tho as when too windy the staff closes umbrellas Rooms could be bigger for sure but overall very nice (even tho basic toiletries, no slippers and a very old filter coffee machine — the key system also had some glitches and we were shut out of the room 3 times at least… The Luau show was outstanding and amazing food! Overall an amazing stay — I’d def go again. 🙌

This was an absolutely beautiful resort! I feel like the location is perfect! It’s close to all activities and amenities. Only thing I would say is the food was not as good, especially for the price you pay. Also paying $50 a day for parking was not ideal.
