The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Ka'anapali

This was the perfect place for our family of 6 to stay on our first trip to Maui! The pool and beach kept the kids entertained all day long and it was so nice to be able to go straight upstairs and make dinner or lunch. Or head to the pool bar or Duke's next door when we didn't want to make anything. Being able to do laundry was a major plus with messy little kids and salt/chlorine soaked swimsuits. Staff was super friendly, helpful and took care to ensure everyone's comfort and safety. There were fun activities each day for the kids to partake in when they wanted a change of pace. And the overall location was so easy to get to all the places outside of the resort that we wanted to visit. We're already planning our next trip back!

The room was exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The kitchen had anything you could ask for. It was spacious and comfortable. We wished that at check in we would’ve been given more information about the property amenities and discounts that were available for restaurants on the property and nearby, but we only found out about it at the very end of our trip. We didn’t have beach view, but the beach itself was stunning. Overall, the property was everything we wanted and more. We can’t wait to come back.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and we had a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

The pool area was overrun by kids and large floating rafts that were allowed into the pool areas. There were 2 designated children's areas but the kids were everywhere and jumping off ledges where adults were sitting and trying to relax or read.

The room was very nice. It was not ocean view but the view of the mountains were spectacular! It had 2 bathrooms, which was a bonus. We took advantage of the photography service onsite and that was also very good. The restaurant was a little hiccup. They did not appear busy so we tried to eat there the first night stine we did not have reservations anywhere else. They said that they would text us when a table was open and that never happened. We ended up eating in the bar which was not bad! Overall, it was a nice hotel and tge stay was pleasant. FYI, people get up early in the mornings and put towels on lounge chairs at poolside to reserve them although they don’t intend to use them until later in the day so you may want to do the same…

This was such a wonderful stay. We were able to snorkel just a short walk to the beach. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. We definitely used the outdoor grills a few times for lunch and dinner when we didn’t want to eat out. Room was so comfortable we booked the two bedroom villa it was the best having separate bedroom/bathroom. I usually have trouble sleeping when traveling and I slept so good. We also took advantage of the shuttle bus for the hotel for dining and shopping. Also it is located in a convenient area close to supermarket, food trucks.

The resort feels newer than the surrounding properties, and it shows. Our villa was exceptionally clean, modern, and spacious, with a great kitchen and one of the nicest resort showers we’ve experienced. We’re Disney Vacation Club owners and have stayed at many high-end resorts, and The Westin Nanea ranks among our favorites. The location is excellent, with easy access to Kāʻanapali Beach, Whalers Village, restaurants, shopping, and golf. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxing, and very family-oriented, which we really appreciated. A couple of tips for future guests: the towel exchange system seemed a little overcomplicated at first, but once it was explained, it wasn’t a big deal. Also, if you plan to snorkel more than once, skip the on-site rentals. They were about $25 per person, per day. We rented from The Snorkel Store about a half-mile away for $35 for eight days. The staff there were incredibly friendly, gave us a beach map with snorkeling recommendations, and let us keep the gear for our entire stay instead of returning it every day by 5:00 p.m. Overall, the beautiful beach, outstanding accommodations, great food, and excellent location made this one of the best resort vacations our family has had. We highly recommend The Westin Nanea and will definitely be back.

I would only say that the dining options are not amazing, be it breakfast, dinner or the pool bar.

Loved this place we will definitely go there again and again. Go to Costco right off the plane the valet will bring your luggage and Costco items up make sure you tip them well. The grills are super clean and easy to use and well maintained. We didn't care for their breakfast so we just ate light in the room. Grab laundry detergent, food, condiments, bottled water and you will save so much.

The resort was very clean, and the staff were always friendly and courteous. We can tell they put a lot of effort into keeping the property safe and well maintained. The beach access is fantastic, and we loved walking the Ka’anapali Beach Boardwalk every day. A great place for a family vacation!

It was amazing! Everything about the resort and rooms were wonderful! No complaints at all, would come back tomorrow!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean comfortable and spacious. We had a 2 bedroom condo. We would highly recommend . The grounds were beautiful also ! We would return !
