Staff was helpful. Area felt safe.

Then there was a blackout for some unknown reason from midnight to 3am, so no a/c or lights and no emergency lighting in the hallways.

We usually book a room that is for Ada, because at 90 years old my mother cannot get into a regular bathtub, nor can she get off of a regular sized

In the past 1 year, we have stayed at this hotel at least 8 times. We travel to Golden a couple times a month between August and March and this is usually where we stay. Since our last visit, they reduced the water pressure in the showers to a dribble, and they remodeled the dining area. The new dining area resembles an elementary school recess yard. They removed the comfortable seating, booths, and couches, and replaced them with wooden type picnic benches, and hard uncomfortable seating that looks like cheap outdoor bar seating. Some people might like it and think it's fun, but I prefer comfort and to be treated like a gown-up. Just my opinion. Won't stay here again.

Outdoor pool, good breakfast and very good coffee. Water in the bathroom sink never got cold. Could use new pillows.

Only 10 minutes away from Red Rocks The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great hot breakfast and nice pool area. Loved the pillow top mattress!! Parking

Breakfast was great! Servers there were friendly and helpful also. Our room was clean! May want to replace duvet covers as there were some small tears in the one in our room, however VERY CLEAN! Also, may want to replace desk phones in the rooms as they look a little dated, however, they worked just fine!

The hotel attendant was very nice and helpful; however this property is most definitely outdated. Ther room was arranged poorly, our fridge doesn't work, there was no microwave in the room as selected, and when we arrived our room was half clean which made me a bit worried. I did let the staff know about the cleaning and they sent housekeeping up to re-clean. The pool was very green, and the hot tub was Lukewarm. The bed was fine, but this hotel was rated way higher on Hotels.com which is not accurate. I will be sticking to Marriot moving forward.

Love the fact that had a laundry room

We stayed for 4 nights and our sheets did not fit bed, the bedding had holes and some stains. The towels were the same way. Our tub did not drain and they never fixed or looked at it after we told them. We reserved four King bed rooms, only got 3 of them the other was 2 doubles and it was musty and they did not fix it. T.V. did not work in 1 rm and we were told it would be fixed it was not. The pool tiles were crumbling and some are rough to the touch. This hotel needs a good amount of work.

Room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast was the only thing about this hotel that was above low average. It is a typical hotel breakfast but the quality was above normal. Health exercise room had some nice equipment, but 2 of the 3 treadmills were out of order and half the free weights (the lighter ones) were missing. Both television is the room were out of order. Elevators remained dirty and not even swept during our 4 day stay. The towels and bed linens were serviceable but definitely older and tired, the bath mat had a hole in it. The hotel is apparently undergoing conversion into one of the low end Hilton brands. The decor is pretty generic "plastic" and blah.
