Red Roof Inn Lancaster - Strasburg

Outside looked shabby

I had reserved a room with two queen beds, but when I finally got into the room, there was only one queen bed, and the room had a strange smell. When I went to ask about my reservation, I was told that was the only room they had available and that it was what showed in their system. Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I hope everyone else’s experience is much better.

Price Swimming pool in disrepair and not open, Room was in ok Condition (walls needed painted and repairs eye sores. Staff allowed people on property to run extension cords to the rear and play music and gather and make a mess. also the used the wood line as a bathroom outside. One of the key pass door to access building would be propped open all day and anyone could enter premises.

Room smelled very stale A foreign object was placed on my car

The place wasn’t what it was advertised the room was discussing and service suck I didn’t not even stay both nights I rent a room at another hotel I’m asking for reburtment

Price Didn't like the mattress. Pillows were lousy.toliet kept running.went to take a shower,it made a loud noise

This was the worst-maintained property I've ever stayed at, yet it was ridiculously expensive for a motel, twice what I usually pay.

nothing manager is one of the biggest liars I ever met so please please do not send people there plus there's bugs every where there. manager is a liar he said he cleared the money to be returned to me never got my money back. please take them off booking so people don't go through what I did, manager steal and just cause he is the owner he thinks he can do and get away with anything. its a terrible place nothing the staff didn't speak and the manager was so disrespectful it was insane, there was bugs all over when you walked in, and they put on there they have a pool yea they never open it at all

Nothing It was filthy. Furniture was broken, mattress was broken microwave didn't work.

Completely disgusting excuse of a hotel. Not only would I not recommend, I would STRONGLY recommend people avoid it (DANGEROUS)!! The people who stay there are long term section 8 housing. There is a lot next door that 40-60 people party at night, there were beer bottles and vomit everywhere in the morning. The rooms were horrendous, the pool wasn’t open, and as I’ve said multiple times, this place was NOT safe. If you’re coming to visit Lancaster do much more research on hotels, because there are plenty of nicer/safer ones there. This was is the LOWEST OF THE LOW! We will be forwarding this information to chamber of commerce of Strasburg. ** LOTS OF FIRE CODE VIOLATIONS AS WELL **

The clean sheets and the location The pool wasn't open the staff was kinda rude wanted a 100 deposit and the walls in the room were gross they only gave us on wash cloth

You get what you pay for. Pay more!

They rectified the issue but the room smelled like a dead wet dog They put us in a horrible room when there was a much nicer and cleaner literally right next door

The rooms are clean and the staff friendly.

We stayed here one night after seeing a show at American Theater, basically across the street. I would only stay here again as a last resort…and ONLY for one night.
