Wyndham Lancaster Resort & Convention Center

The front desk clerk Ken I believe that was his name was so helpful and kind. I was traveling with two kids he was kind enough to check us in early and move us to another room that was close to the indoor pool and play area. Because of him I will definitely stay here when we travel to Lancaster as we do very frequently. Even with him on crutches he still was very pleasant and friendly.

My visit by default, due to Jet Airways. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay at The Grand, in my future endeavors.

Positives: Pool was heated, clean and beautiful. Lounge chairs in the pool, excellent. Over crowded on weekends but if you got there at 7am - 9am or 5pm - 6pm you had the pool mostly empty. Unfortunately people don't know how to be respectful and they left trash and their towels all over the place, even though there was a place for dirty towels and trash. Charles, kept it as clean as possible, nice job. Housekeeping: the woman working in our room was very friendly, though we didn't understand each other much, it was a pleasant experience. Needed the maintenance to explain a few things, very pleasant and informed man. Negatives: Front desk staff: I don't think any of them spoke English, one or two of them were ready for an argument rather than helpful advice, snappy when asked about the breakfast, high prices, and from what we heard, not good food. Starbucks on site was never open when we went down to grab a bite. The phone in our room was broken, took 2 days for them to replace the phone with an old "princess style phone" that had no directions or any idea what numbers to push. Had to speak to the manager just to get action taken on the phone. Overall, the hotel was clean, the pool was great, the staff other than the front desk, were very nice, price for our room was reasonable for the size of the one King size bed, room. Close to all amenities, if you like shopping, right next to a huge shopping plaza. We'd stay again just for the pool.

I arrived to a completely empty resort a t 3pm to be told that check in is not till 4pm and was turned away and told to not come back. I preceded to watch the front desk clerk that turned me away play on her phone for the next 10 minutes. I have hundreds upon hundreds of nights and this is a first. I will never use Wyndham again and will discontinue my membership with them

-same night called down to reception. No one answered after 10 minutes. Came down gentleman was sitting on his phone at the reception desk. We had no bed sheets for the pullout couch although room was reserved for 5 ppl. -infested with ants all in our food that was ordered and food and drinks that was placed on counter for only a minute. Informed staff on this as well. Nothing done. Day two -cleaning Ants again this morning. -cockroach found on bed. 10:37pm above my 8yr old child’s head while she slept. Picture taken for proof. -spoke with Vishouy 7/31/26 was informed By the GM Ehub will be calling me to speak with me about my concerns. Also took picture of what I had taken from his personal phone. 8/1- went to reception again asking why I haven’t got a call or attempt of contact in regards to situation from GM. They didn’t know why 8/2- upon check out went to reception AGAIN. ( mind you Expedia of whom I booked with has attempted contacting management this morning. Who was informed he will not be in until 4PM. Also informed Expedia nothing was noted of my concerns) I happen to see Vishouy again and asked him why no one had reached out to me. And i want to speak with a manager that was request 2 days ago. Said he would see if he’s available. Came out of the back room n said GM was not at this time but would reach out to me.

This is my second stay at this hotel. This trip I stayed for 5 days. Not one person came to clean our room. Or even ask if it was needed. No linen or towels unless I asked. And that seemed like I was asking alot. There is a breakfast, at a moderate charge. For the price I paid , some sort of breakfast would be nice. I stayed there because of my kids like the outdoor pool. That is the best asset they have. The double room is a good size. And do have two bathrooms which was great for a family.

Property was well maintained. My only interaction with staff was at check-in, so I cannot say much about their quality of service. I like that there was more than one pool, however, the outside pool was unavailable due to an incident with human feces. I didn't utilize most of their amenities. I visited the children's play room with my kids, but we couldn't stay because the room had a strong odor. I also visited the arcade but the space was small, games were limited, and quarters were required in order to play.

When I went to check out, I was given the wrong receipt. At that point, I just left. I'm sure if the check in process was better, I would overlook some of the other issues.

Rooms and hallways were very dirty. No security by pool, anyone could walk through front of hotel out to pool area.

I was traveling with a wheelchair bound individual and although the rooms have handicap accessible areas, getting in and out of the building is challenging as the door just close. The wheelchair barely fit through the room door. The bathroom though spacious for wheelchair movement does not have an accessible shower to accommodate a person that can’t stand. It was a tub not even a walk-in. Though the stay was pleasant I will have to be more mindful of these things when choosing a hotel.

All good besides price of Starbucks

Grounds were filthy. Food and garbage everywhere. Could'nt check in until after 5:00PM. Called ahead to ask for early check in and was told no problem. My daughters room smelled of cat urine and my 2 baby grandsons woke up the first morning coughing and sneezing. Pool area was a mess. Broken umbrellas laying around the pool area, a pool bar in disrepair with ex, ladders and bags of cement on the sidewalks

Easy and quick check in

The outside pool was very nice and had a great playground for kids right outside of pool area. The indoor pool however was not well maintained and not user friendly. There were chunks of concrete missing out of the side of pool. The entrance to the pool was small and on a little shelf. There were no steps to step off the platform into the pool area. The floor was very slippery and multiple children fell simply walking around. The rooms were not the cleanest either

Room was super clean beds were very comfortable

This as our 2nd time staying at this hotel and resort. We love it here the staff is amazing and the hotel is very clean

Everything was good, except for the registration time, about 40 minutes, lots of at the registration counter and only 3 friendly people at the counter.
