- My room, while adequate, was only that. The fourth floor corridor needs vacuuming. My bed & pillows were okay, but not super comfy. I really expected more from a Marriott hotel. - Just a note: the staff was extremely helpful & gracious.

I am going to start from the beginning… driving up to the property it looks very well maintained. Checking in was easy, but i couldn’t help but notice there were about 10 kids playing hockey and running around in the lobby. The parents were sitting outside near the fire pit, leaving the children unsupervised. We headed up to our room, to which we were greeted with a few crumbs on the floor and some stains on the sheets. After putting our stuff down we checked out the pool, it was clean but too cold to swim in, though the room was heated. After the first night my family noticed had congestion and sore throat, which continued to last until we got home. Day 2 we came back to the hotel to let our toddler take a nap, we put out the do not disturb sign and expected to not be disturbed. Clearly this was too high of an expectation because the cleaning staff decided to have a conversation down the road hall from each other right outside my door, which woke my kid up. That night fire alarm went off twice, once at 9pm, and another at midnight 12am. The staff didn’t bother to inform anyone both times we had to evacuate the building that it was safe to come in, or the cause of these alarms. After a night of minimal rest, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude whilst we were checking out which was the perfect cherry on top to end our vacation. Do NOT recommend this place.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Restaurant on site was good, good food and drinks. Microwave and fridge in the room was great!

I immediately asked for a different room, but of course the hotel was completely booked that weekend, so I was stuck with it. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s extremely convenient and very close to Sesame Place, which was the main reason I chose it. Other than the location, I definitely would not recommend this hotel for anything more than a short stay. The cleanliness and overall condition of the room need some serious attention.
