Yes, I was aware that I was booking an older hotel located off the strip and I was good with it.

THE POOL SIDES WERE DIRTY/MESSY. WOULD GO AGAIN AS PRICES WERENT TOO BAD BUT KNOW TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL. SUITE IN MASQUERADE ROOM SMELLED LIKE A ANTIQUE SHOP BUT NOTHING A AIRFRESHINER COULDNT HELP. FAUCETS AND ROOMS ARE RUSTING AND DEFINITELY NEED SOME TLC.

Loved everything

Hotel was out dated and and never had enough face towels.
-
Good service at the check in desk. Clean rooms. Large rooms. Overall a pleasant experience.
-
Easy and free to park, room had plenty of space, nice casino
-
I like the fact that is still one of the few hotels that still offers free parking and the rooms are bigger than most hotels
-
“Jordan” was SCREAMING at customers and refusing to help anyone. Will never stay here again
-
Room dirty with peoples hair around the sink and shower/sink wouldn’t drain

While staying at the rio Masquerade we were robbed, while we were asleep in our room. The took all the cash that we had with us. The security was not helpful at all and did not have access to cameras, or key card swipe information. I was very disturbed to find out that this is a common occurrence at this hotel. The reviews on Expedia did not mention the robberies that have taken place over the last few years, or I would not have booked this for our stay... I was upset about losing the money but even more upset that the hotel does not provide a safe place for you to stay by allowing thieves to open doors and not providing adequate security for their guests.

This was our third time staying at the masquerade tower this year and it was the worst room we’ve seen (room 24020). The carpet had stains, the grout in the bathroom was very prominent and there was something sticking out of the wall that was very concerning and could hurt someone. We had to request for a room change because it was just too dirty and disappointing to stay in our original room.
-
The room was hot we asked for towels and to fix the air and they didn’t help the drain was not working in the shower either
-
Room was very clean and quite. Bed very comfortable. Parking was free. Took the bus to the strip.

and replacing dirty carpeting, and improving cleanliness throughout, even in elevators. We were also disappointed that there was no free coffee or even a couple of water bottles available in our room upon arrival. Again, for the outrageous price and ridiculous resort fee the hotel charged for a one night stay, it is very cheap to not even offer free water bottles and coffee to their guests. Would be far better treated at a La Quinta inn, for example.

I was in Vegas to watch a concert the eve 4th of July, so the price was very good. I didn't care about the pool but my daughter said lounging chairs need to be updated. I order sheets and pillows they came in 5 minutes. AI CHECK IN worked awesome too. I was given the choice to upgrade to the renovated room which I loved and I checked in 5 minutes without standing in line. I wish they would fix the smell and put ac in the hallways so it smells fresh and feels cool. It is a good hotel for this price including free valet. I saw some families who chose Rio as the rooms are also big more like a suite.
