The Platinum Hotel

This property was conveniently located near several casinos just a short walk or uber away. The view from our balcony and bedroom window was beautiful. It was clean, quiet, and the pool was nice.

Big room with kitchen and living room, nice views, amazing shower pressure, and covered parking garage. A/C stopped working every couple of hours, especially during the night. At 115F outside, the room got extremely hot and I had to wake up at least two times to turn the AC back on. The TV is ancient and tiny, no smart features to watch streaming at all. Useless. The elevator location is not central, we basically had to walk past over almost 30 rooms to get to it. The gym is just for show, super small and limited. No restrooms for users. Only 1 (ONE) gym mat and no space to even use it. Old cable machine with a treadmill blocking its full use. Pool area is bare concrete floor, looks like the unfinished top of a building. Closes at 9pm(why?) Hot tub is miniscule.

I was in Las Vegas with my granddaughters for two BTS concerts and a visit to the Sphere. When we arrived, our original room wasn’t quite ready, so we went over to Tuscany for something to eat and came back later. What happened next was completely unexpected. Lindsay upgraded us, at no additional charge, to an incredible top-floor two-bedroom, two-bath suite with a huge kitchen, dining area and an enormous balcony. She told me she had been waiting for a nice family to give the suite to, and that she loved that a grandmother was bringing her granddaughters to Las Vegas for this special trip. But Lindsay’s kindness didn’t stop with the upgrade. When our travel plans became difficult, she offered us an additional night at the hotel at no charge so we wouldn’t have to worry. They even personally drove us to the airport. The Platinum is within walking distance of both the Las Vegas Strip and the Sphere, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The Platinum itself was comfortable, spacious and wonderfully located, but exceptional hospitality ultimately comes down to people. Lindsay went far beyond anything we could have expected, and she exemplifies what exceptional hospitality should look like. Thank you, Lindsay, and thank you to The Platinum Hotel for helping make our Las Vegas trip unforgettable and amazing!

Staff was excellent. Very helpful. Free bottle of wine at check-in. Very nice lobby. Easy to get to our bedroom. Free parking which was very accommodating for the area. We were even allowed to stay there after check-out while we caught one last exhibit before leaving town. The pool area could seriously use some TLC. It was bare bones!! never mind they didn't have a bar on site, they charge to bring you a drink from the bar in the lobby. There were almost no plants or any kind of decorative items in the pool area. It almost felt like they were trying to discourage you from hanging out there, and it worked. There were hardly any people in the pool area on Saturday when it was 113° so that should tell you something. This is Las vegas. This is the most Anti Las Vegas pool I have ever seen in my life. I would highly recommend working on the aesthetics of the pool area. Otherwise the room was very nice, it was a sweet so you had a little kitchen where we could put our drinks in the refrigerator. Nice balcony overlooking the beautiful Las Vegas Skyline. Bed was very very comfortable. Bathroom was really nice with a big tub. But they saved all the water pressure for the sink. I couldn't even wash my hair in the shower in the room. So good and bad. Super excellent location, very nice bed, but not really a place you're going to hang out. Basically just use it to sleep. Pool area. Bare bones, no amenities, no aesthetics. water pressure in shower.

ROOM WAS SAME AS THE PICTURE BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN .THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO MENTION IS THE BALCONY WAS DIRTY IT WAS NOT JUST DUST YOU CAN NOTICED RESIDUAL OF PROTEIN IN THE TABLE AND FLOOR .wE LOVE THE CORTESY WINE YOU SHOUL HAVE MACHINE ICE OVERALL WE WILL BE BACK SOON NO ICE MACHINE BALCONY WAS DIRTY

I set off the smoke detector in the room cooking bacon. The front desk and maintenance staff were super responsive. Trash was left over night sitting in bags outside the receptacle. The free wine was nice. Bar / Restaurant wasn’t open. Free parking was nice!

Family friendly , quiet and staff were attentive

Room was spacious and clean. The pool was fun. Tried to use the washer and dryer in room but the water took a long time to fill to get the washer going ( like an hour!). Not sure if it was that particular room or if laundry use was discouraged… but other than that it was a comfortable stay and reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable.
