Microtel Inn by Wyndham Albany Airport

The breakfast was all packaged foods, refrigerator was dirty, and beds weren’t very comfortable. No elevator to the second floor so be ready to carry your luggage up stairs!

We had a long drive in and we're unable to take a nap due to children running in the hall Called the front desk who said they would call them to tell them to stop. It continued that evening while we were trying to sleep and again the following morning. It seemed like they were not guests. Almost as though they were relatives of the staff. T v was not working. The exterior walls were dirty. Would not recommend

Very friendly staff. Good location near airport. Decent room.

Great stuff really helpful. The room was clean easy hotel to stay if you need to be in Albany close of the airport also, it’s really good with the bus next to the bus stop and next to the shopping area.

Great breakfast, loved lounging by the fire at night. Clean facility and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

The room was nice - well made up, clean. The continental breakfast was good also. A couple of things that I would like to see improved: there are no USB outlets in the room. The outside door did not latch properly when it self-closed, the smell in the room was a little off-putting. Pesticide spray maybe? Could have been more pleasant.

Clean

Lots of parking and the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant. Room is not fancy but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great and shower was nice and hot with good pressure. Worked perfect for my one day stay. Good value and I would book here again.

It's not the most current renovation, but the AC works great and the bed was comfortable. The TV works, as does the mini-fridge. One of my small pet peeves with staying at motels is the weak water pressure for showers. This one, however, was fabulous. There was ample towels and hand clothes to use. The staff was great and check-in was seamless. We origionally were put on the second floor, which usually isn't an issue for us (there is no elevator). However, I recently had foot surgery, so going up the stairs was daunting. The desk staff noticed this and found us a room on the ground floor. That was a nice touch and greatly appreciated! Overall a decent place to stay the night for an early flight out. Don't go in thinking it's The Ritz. You get what you pay for, but sometimes, that's enough. Recommended!

Great stay close to the airport!

There was no Power at the hotel and the manager was away, the person at reception could not find out when the power would be back, I asked for a refund/cancellation but was told it's an Act of God and they were told no refund no credit. There were about 20 persons outside in the parking lot that have been waiting for 2-3 hours and were also told no refund. I have stayed at this place many times, but this is how you lose a customer. the attendant told me that she could not refund me because I checked in, but when i checked in she never said that if I checked in and in 2-3 hours if power is still out that she could not give me a refund. I arrived around 5PM and finally gave up at 8:15pm as they would not budge. MICROTEL NEVER AGAIN. Mr. Hotel Owner, here is your $100.00 of negative feedback.

I have requested a refund because when we arrived there, there was no power. The staff was very kind but had no idea when the power would be restored.

Room was in an awful location. Had to listen to people coming up and down the stairs all night long, slamming the stairwell door. The room had bugs, and was in poor condition.

Place smelled like a urinal. Dirty towels.

Room was clean, but no elevator was a total let down, as I had a huge suitcase to lug up the flight of stairs, no offer to help at all!
