TownePlace Suites Latham Albany Airport

Unfortunately, when we arrived after a 9-hour drive, we were informed that the hotel does not have accessible rooms. I was told they had attempted to contact me beforehand, but that there was no contact information available through my Expedia reservation. I found this surprising, as I have booked many hotels through Expedia in the past and have never had an issue with hotels contacting me. I also don't understand why accessible rooms are advertised if they are not actually available. I hope the hotel and Expedia can work together to ensure this information is accurate, as it can significantly impact travellers with disabilities. Given how exhausted we were after the long drive, we decided to proceed with our stay in a standard room with a shower. It wasn't ideal, as my daughter requires a shower chair, and I would encourage the hotel to consider providing portable shower chairs as part of its accessibility accommodations. This would make a meaningful difference for guests with mobility challenges. Despite the accessibility issue, we enjoyed our stay!

It was a nice surprise to have a kitchen in my room. What didn't work was the quality of the sofa bed. The mattress was not a good quality. It was not comfortable to sleep on. There were no other options. The sheets did not fit the bed properly. The top sheet at the head of the bed keep coming undone. The cleaning staff needs to check the body soap in shower. It was out and not replaced until they were notified. When I tried to call staff for assistance no one picked up the phone. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean! The staff was top notch which always makes the stay better! The pool is big, refreshing and so clean! We will definitely be back!

Khadijah, Desk-Clerk, phenomenal. She was patient and helped us as we were in a crunch, leaving the Albany hotel, which was a horrible stay and definitely needed somewhere to stay for the last four or five days while we were in New York, kudos to her! please give that young lady some praises.

A++ The hotel is in a great location close to the airport. It’s very clean and well maintained with a really nice pool. Staff are wonderful, very polite and go out of their way to make a great stay. The hotel shuttle to and from the airport was a wonderful addition to the stay. Will definitely stay here again.

We stay in a lot of hotels and this one was exceptional! Sparkling clean and excellent water pressure including a hand held shower head! Kitchenette with frosty cold frig. Design was above and beyond with high ceilings, great lighting and little touches that made it well thought out.

Location, Clean, Friendly Staff, Great breakfast options, 2 bedroom suite is spacious and was perfect for our family. I honestly have no complaints

I’ve been traveling to the Albany area for 6 years. This is my first stay at this hotel. It is my new favorite. Extremely clean and comfortable. Close to everything you could need. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Everything about this hotel is great. We always stay here for a short stay. A little pricey compared to other hotels in the area, but the rooms are large and have kitchens.

This was our second time staying here within 9 months. The bed in the room we had this time was very, very firm. It was like sleeping on the floor. We woke up very sore in the morning. That is my only complaint. The room is spacious and I love the little kitchen area. The breakfast was great. The hotel was quiet. It’s very conveniently located around restaurants and stores of all kinds.

The 2 bedroom suite is perfect and I have stayed here twice after having surgery. The staff is courteous and discreet. The accommodations are spotless and would be great for longer stays.
