Total of 3 floors with an elevator. Slots, Keno and card games, including poker, are offered by the Las Vegas-style casino at Pioneer Hotel. Bumbleberry Flats restaurant offers American comfort cuisine and the River Bar features beer and specialty cocktails. Guests of the Pioneer can dock their boats and jet skis right outside the hotel and enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool. Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport is a 6-minute drive from Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall. Riverview Resort Golf Course is just 6.6 miles away. If pet room needed, please request upon booking. Only dogs allowed limit 2 under 50 pounds each. There is a $75 nonrefundable fee.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, so overall we had a good stay. The front desk staff was friendly on the phone, but in person, they didn’t seem as welcoming. It felt like they were nicer to locals or regular guests — there was a couple checking in before us, and the staff was welcoming to them. As a single parent traveling with my child, going somewhere welcoming makes me want to come back. The café, Bumbleberry Flats, was wonderful — the staff was friendly, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend eating there.

I used to always stay at the Pioneer when I lived out west and went to Laughlin frequently. It has maintained that friendliness and affordability. This is a no frills place, but if you're here to gamble or launching off to water sports, it's a great place if all you need is a clean, quiet, comfy place to lay your head. Don't come expecting resort treatment. But the staff was absolutely fantastic, and compared to another property that had more pizzazz to offer, it was miles above them. They also let you know the rooms are very basic, no fridge or microwave. For the price, you can't beat it.

Very dirty room. They also couldn’t accommodate my parents which are señiors with 1st floor room.

They’ve changed some rules cannot take an ice chest in the pool area, but the gentleman was nice enough to bring us a plastic trash bag to put them in and we had to remove the cooler to our room. Thank you for that. Would’ve not enjoyed it if they were not nice enough.

No blow dryers and/or iron/ironing board in the rooms as a basic necessity, but overall, I enjoyed my stay and they have the coldest A/C here at The New Pioneer and on the entire Laughlin Strip.
