The only thing I like about the hotel was the location, still a drive from downtown but a lots of stores/restaurants nearby. The hotel room is good but bathroom is so small. I felt like I was in a box. Our stay is OK, first room given to us the AC doesn’t work, the manager came and try to fix it which is odd because the maintenance would be the person to fix it. They moved us to a different room one floor down the lights in the room does not work. Again, manager came twice to try to replace the bulb or fixed it but she doesn’t know what it is and kind of frustrated. We noticed the room might be an older version or probably needed a maintenance check but the AC works. Pool is outdoor and dirty, we didn’t use it. Gym has missing tiles roof and very limited equipment but planet fitness is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Breakfast was OK, I think this is the worst Hyatt we stayed at.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at

Breakfast was filling and well prepared, usual fare. Room was well maintained and had plenty of room. Two queen beds along with a fully separate sitting area.

I didn’t stay here. You refused to refund me I didn’t stay here
-
Pool very filthy, breakfast area incredibly small with flies, and rooms were not cleaned when we arrived. We waited several additional hours for the room to be cleaned and then we were not given the room we paid for.

The staff was over the top exceptional. Great people, clean rooms and will stay there again

The hotel itself was wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful. My only concern was the outdoor pool. We stayed here specifically for the outdoor pool which is rare these days and it was really dirty, both leaves which happens but scum on the pool floor which should not happen if cleaned and treated appropriately. It’s a beautiful area; please keep it clean and maintained.

Good The bathroom no waste basket and wasted room, worse was the small area outside the bathroom no room for anything to try and wash or especially put on makeup and do hair.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels for work, and the Hyatt Place Overland has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list. From the moment I checked in, the staff made it clear that they value their guests’ time — the process was quick, friendly, and completely hassle-free after a long travel day. The room was exactly what a business traveler needs: genuinely comfortable bed, a spacious desk with easy access to outlets, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, and a layout that actually lets you unwind without feeling like you’re sleeping in your office. Everything was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast is a real differentiator. Hot, fresh, and varied enough that it didn’t feel like an afterthought — I was able to fuel up and head to my meetings without wasting time or money hunting down a café. The location works well for getting around. There is many great restaurants and shops in the area. What keeps me coming back the the Hyatt brand is the consistency. Every stay feels the same level of polished and professional. When you’re traveling for work, that reliability is worth everything. Highly recommend to any business traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and a staff that genuinely gets it.

This was invite best hotel stays!

This place has been remodeled. The pool was being repaired which was a disappointment. They site said there was a restaurant. There was a limited menu of chicken wings, fries and burgers only. The breakfast was pretty well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room wasn’t very clean. The bathroom smelled of an outhouse and the floor was dirty. The sink was newly installed improperly. The faucet itself was moving and not secure. The shower didn’t turn on all the way. The lower bathtub faucet stayed half running. It was updated yes but poorly at least in the room we had. The doors to the outside were grimy and needed cleaned.
