Great stay for overnight stop.

When I arrived I was upgraded to a king suite for free. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Everything was nice and clean. The food at breakfast and kickback was delicious. Would highly recommend

The room was clean and comfortable but the standout feature is the friendly and helpful staff. We were also grateful, after a day of travel, to be able to stay at the hotel and enjoy the complimentary food and drinks in the evening. Great stay.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our two dogs and they had treats for them at the front desk! Good breakfast and the evening happy hour is a nice bonus. We stayed in a king suite with a sofa bed which was very roomy.

The hotel was good overall, but the housekeeping was poor. We found hairs on the sheets, and when they cleaned the room, the bed was not made properly—the sheets were hanging off the mattress.
-
Drury as always was up to our expectations. We'll be back!

The only thing with our stay that was a little off was the AC worked fine in the living space but the bedroom unit never kicked on and it got a little stuffy overnight, even with the door between the rooms being left open for air flow. It may have been designed that way when thermostats were added instead of the two individual wall units per room for efficiency reasons. The breakfast was good with a variety of options. Please add hot chocolate packets to the coffee and tea station as well as liquid creamer! They really want you to watch portion sizes with the cold cereal as they basically gave you salsa holders for bowls. Overall it was a great stay and will be on our list of good places to stay in the KC area!

Room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet all night long.

Great stay for an overnight visit. Room was spacious, food good and drinks were an added bonus. Only downside for us was the hot tub was not hot.
-
Great clean property. Friendly helpful staff. The famous free Drury Happy Hour and meals are great especially for families. Good place to stay overall.

Very nice breakfast selection. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Great staff and accomodations. Close to Overland Park Mall World Cup shuttle. Bottles of water in the room would be nice.

We love the Drury and will stay with them whenever possible. Rooms are nice, breakfasts are great, and afternoon "kickbacks" are phenomenal! And all of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One snafu: We booked a month in advance for $300/night (FIFA soccer was in town). An email from Expedia a day before check-in said we could "choose a room". When I looked at prices, the same room had dropped to $203/night. Expedia still charged us the $300/night price. I called to complain (shouldn't room prices through Expedia be lower than at the door?). After verification, a nice lady named Jess credited my Expedia account with the difference in price for the two days. Problem solved!

We came into town for a girl's weekend and are so glad we stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites on Metcalf in Overland Park. It was close to everywhere we wanted to go, plus there were plenty of choices for coffee, food, and shopping right near the hotel. The rooms were super clean, and the beds were amazingly comfortable, which made relaxing and sleeping so nice. The breakfast and evening food were both delicious, with plenty to choose from, which saved us money and gave us more time to spend together rather than fighting crazy traffic. Even though it was a busy weekend in KC, the entire Overland Park staff was incredibly polite and accommodating whenever we needed anything. They always spoke, which made us feel like family.Stephanie, who checked us in, even remembered my niece's 21st birthday and surprised her with a card with a personal note! It was so sweet of her to remember, which totally made her weekend.I can proudly say that even though we booked through a third-party site, we weren't treated like second-class guests, which has happened to us at other hotel chains. This is the first time we have stayed at a Drury Hotel, but we will definitely be customers for life!
