good location with generous parking

When we arrived, the cleanliness of our room was unacceptable. There was hair throughout the bathroom and cookie crumbs on top of the bed. I called the front desk to report the issue, but the staff member was unable to assist me, and I waited approximately 20 minutes to speak with a supervisor. When the supervisor, Teresa, finally answered, I was even more disappointed with the way the situation was handled. There was no introduction, no apology, and very little professionalism. I was simply told that she would speak with housekeeping and have someone come clean the room when they were available. After waiting that long to speak with a supervisor about an unclean room, I expected at least an apology and some concern about the condition in which the room was given to us. To make matters worse, the pool was closed for the entire week, and we were never informed before our stay. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, especially considering the high amount we paid per night. Had we known it would be unavailable, we likely would have chosen another hotel. I have stayed at other Marriott locations and had excellent experiences, so I know this is not representative of every Marriott property. However, this particular location was extremely disappointing, especially regarding cleanliness, communication, and customer service.

Staff was great, setup of hotel was awesome, and the bar/restaurant in the lobby was amazing!

The workout room was great. The University of Missouri NCAA football team was staying at the property. Breakfast buffet was good but the seating around the perimeter was too low for the table height.

Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Not enough carts to take up luggage. People having to wait for the elevator. Besides that, it was a pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. We had arrived sooner than expected and staff helped us check in early. When checking in the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and parking was easy and felt like another level of secure.

We had a nice room that was very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The food was great too!

Great stay

They charge for parking which is ridiculous when it’s not downtown and they have their own parking lot. The first room had a lot of outlets that didn’t work. The second room had a faulty toilet. We don’t like the bathroom doors and they don’t lock.
