Very clean and quiet hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at Sonesta was quite pleasant. It's in a good area and fairly priced. The staff were so kind they let us check in an hour early and the Indian gentleman at the front desk that works nights was nice enough to let us check out an hour later which was very helpful. The cleaning staff was very kind and helpful as well and cleaned almost everyday during our stay. Our kid really enjoyed the swimming pool. Will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we're in town and would recommended anyone to stay here if you're looking for something safe and affordable.

We chose it to visit KC during the World Cup as there was special transport just down the road into the heart of KC but I suspect you would need to drive during other times. The breakfast was decent and varied but the breakfast room did struggle to cope when busy even with the overflow room but as I say we were there during World Cup so it was busy. The surrounding area is quiet and safe. Worked for us

Room was decent. Beds were decent. The cleaning staff was great. Very friendly. The front desk check in was extremely slow for some reason, possibly a new guy. The breakfast was “meh” and the lady running the breakfast area was very unpleasant and borderline rude. Lots of people seemed to be staying here for World Cup, so the hotel was crowded. A few grown a$$ men thought it was completely appropriate to strip down to their tighty whiteys and jump in the swimming pool with my wife and young children. It was completely inappropriate, quite disgusting and I would have loved to kicked them in their throats, that is frowned upon in society unfortunately. This along with some other strange things caused us to pack and head out a day early.

Place is regular to stay a night, nothing to highlight, just a room to sleep

It was a clean room. But very damp. Smelled damp and even with the air running constantly it was damp. The book I brought had wrinkled pages the next morning.
