Fabulous place to stay!!! So cozy and we loved the river behind us!

The desk clerk referred us to Woodwards which was fantastic Unfortunately we didnt get to stay. Advertised as pet friendly but arrived and it was not. Desk clerk said he would refund us with charge but we are still waiting. And you have been notified directly by Booking and myself with no response. Linda Miller

Room rate high compared to the rate for the same room when the Highland Games or Fall Foliage are not taking place. Mote than $50 less per night.

It was a nice area. Furniture is outdated and I paid waaay more than the room was worth. Holiday weekend. I guess. But it was okay.

Easy parking, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Room contained all amenities in working order. The bathroom floor and tub needed better cleaning. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Upon entering the room, there was a strong dank smell (it had rained, so maybe that was the cause). Using the AC helped a little. Could use a dehumidifier in the room?

If you want to walk out your door and be able to wade in the beautiful Pemigewasset then this is the place. Very convenient location for local outings, cute cottages, comfy beds, working ACs. The bathroom was literally filthy though. We wore flip flops in the shower. If you can look past that, well, staying on the river was really pretty and relaxing.

Great location. Mattress was very comfortable, chairs are all well past their prime. Fridge functioned well. Screens need attention. Host was super polite

The location is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful scenery, able to walk to Pemigewasset River just behind the cottage i stayed in. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and kept the grounds and cottage very clean. Air conditioners worked great and hot water was plentiful. I will be returning for both winter and summertime trips going forward. I have found my base of operations for my White Mountain getaways. Thank you Hamish and family
