Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard

Was locked out of the room for two days due to faulty keys. Checked out and left some diamond earrings came back five minutes later to retrieve them and they were gone with the staff gas lighting me about my jewelry as if I didn’t know where I left them. Was not the best experience with my family and I will not be booking with them again probably will never use a Marriott room again.

Booking on Hotels.com, I wasn't expecting to pay $291.16 outside of the $1100+ it costed me for two rooms for two days. Hotels.com said the price listed on their site is what I would be paying to the hotel. Make sure to read all the hotel details before you book. If I had know I would be paying for the following, I would have never booked there. I AM SO UPSET. LA Hotel Ordinance Fee $15.50 per day, per room. LA Ordinance Trsm Tax 2% EX (whatever that is) .31 cent per day per room. LA Ordinance OCC Tax 14% EX $2.17 per day per room. Daily Parking $116.00 per. Parking tax 10% Ex 11.60 per day. We were there two days The charges totaled $263. Then, there was tax on that of $28.16 which brought the total to @291.16 outside of the $1100+ for our two rooms. I am PISSED! And, I haven't received my $200 ($100 per room) incidentals fee back. I will NEVER stay here again. This was an average room. It was clean, but it was the cleanliness you expect and deserve for this price. They didn't didn't even have a pool. The beach was about 30 minutes away, but the beach wasn't in our plan or timeframe.

Clean room, we didn’t have a mini fridge or ottoman which were in the photos and description so that was a disappointment. Other than that the room was nice and spacious.

Everything was great, great staff, comfortable bed, the room was clean and spacious. We used the airport shuttle and it was great as well. I would definitely stay there again.

Professional and courteous staff. 4-minute drive to our terminal in the AM. Great airport location.

Felt safe to store my bags there. Before I gave them my bag tag, they asked me to describe my bag before going to retrieve it. Blackout curtains were amazing. Super convenient pick up and drop off at LAX that is reliable. They also had a screen in the lobby that showed what time the next shuttle would be. My only wish is that there was a coffee station throughout the entire day.

The front desk staff were kind and helpful. The property was very clean, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Taking the shuttle to the airport is easy, and while the shuttle driver was friendly, he never offered to help me with my luggage while I was getting on the shuttle, nor when I was getting off the shuttle. While I’m capable of doing many things myself, I’m a “senior” woman and only had 1 carry-on suitcase, so it would’ve been nice if we would have offered some assistance.

The facility was notably clean. The room offered a peaceful environment, and I genuinely appreciated the quiet during my stay. My sole negative experience involved some front desk staff who exhibited unnecessary rudeness when I posed a simple question.
