Homewood Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport

The front desk staff were amazing, very kind and helpful. They made checking in a breeze and even helped us plan local places to visit etc. Rooms were clean. Airport shuttle driver was great, which made it very easy and safe to get from hotel to airport

Downfall was the A.C not really working and it being pretty warm most of the stay. and there was absolutely no A.C in the bathroom which was super humid and hot. I did ask for assistance and someone came right away, but still didn't do much for hours after.

Shuttle from airport, the offer of breakfast (but I had to be at the airport too early to take advantage) and overall location/atmosphere was great for the price. My only complaint was the room wouldn't cool down enough for me to sleep comfortable. Thermostat showed 74 even after adjusting temp to 68...

The room was spacious with a full kitchen. It was immaculate. I could walk there from the airport. It was less than a half mile. One small thing, is the QR code so that you can tip housekeeping. Great idea, I thought, but when I went to use it you had to have the name of the housekeeper. Since I was there for one night I wasn't able to use that feature.

Nothing. Everything was a headache to deal with. The bed was lumpy. The pool area was dirty. The parking made no sense so I was not aware how much I would be charged until it was time to leave. When I called for room service to order food to my room, the receptionist told me I had to come downstairs to place an order, which defeats the purpose of ordering to my room.

Breakfast The coffee was bitter and there wasn't any milk or regular sugar for it. There was half and half and creamer.

The man who checked us in was absolutely wonderful! He felt bad that we had to wait 6-7 min for him to come to the front desk to check us in, so he upgraded our family to a MASSIVE suite with a gorgeous wall of windows. The beds were good and the location was perfect for our visit. Unfortunately, in the gorgeous suite we were upgraded to, the sofa bed (where my son needed to sleep) was broken (like BROKEN; the side legs were bent and it couldn't be deployed to be used). This meant we had to switch rooms, which took some time and a little hassle, but it got eorked out.
