Hilton Checkers is a forgotten property by the Hilton family (as in remembering they still have it). Website advertises amenities e.g., rooftop bar/brunch, a restaurant, and breakfast buffet. The rooftop does not have a bar, brunch, or food. The restaurant does not exist anymore and the breakfast buffet is not edible. However, the room was clean and spacious. Know if you book, there is no food on property and encourage you to venture from hotel for life sustainment (food, breakfast, or coffee). Across the street a great coffee shop Dalian's Cafe and the Water Grill is exceptional just steps away from the front door of the hotel. The architecture of the hotel is timeless just know you will have to leave for food and coffee.

Room was nice and clean, quiet. Proximity to Dodger stadium was very nice. Check in staff not very helpful and didn’t listen to you if you had any concerns or questions. Homeless problem immediately outside the hotel doors. $36 daily destination fee is a joke. Don’t really consider the homeless outside the property a location worthy of an exorbitant destination fee especially when it concerns your party about walking around and going to a late lunch or dinner. Please don’t call the 4 foot by 4 foot corner of the hotel a “gift shop” and at least add something worth purchasing in the gift shop besides a $5 small pack of dots pretzels.

We tried checking in early @ 3:20. They said room not ready til 4. Came back at 4. Room not ready. Was offered waters. They gave us another corner room. I asked if view comparable to original room,(which I booked months in advance) Manager said yes. View not comparable at all. Please see pics. We had to get ready for event that night, only reason I didn’t complain in that moment. I’m a Hilton Honors member. Not satisfied on room not being ready.

Exceptional

I did not appreciate paying 95 dollars for a basic breakfast that's usually complimentary at any other hotel. Especially with how mich l I paid for one night and couldn't check in early.

Love the spacious rooms and facilities I preferred breakfast being non buffet Is the roof terrace open any more ?

The guy who checked us in had no idea what he was talking about regarding major details of our stay. He said we would have to pay an extra resort fee which would come out of our deposit (not true, we already paid it). He also said there would be free street parking on Saturdays (also not true)

The team was amazing all hours of the day and night! Everyone was super helpful. Room was very clean and the location was convenient.

The room smelled moldy, the Internet wouldn’t allow me to log on, the TV was pixelated and not watchable at all. Food was limited but ok.

Guess next to my room was super loud early morning 5:20am extremely loud laughters children playing running around completely careless towards other guess, which made it impossible to rest
