Hotel is nice although would expect a little more and better eating options for a 5 date hotel

Old property as expected, the front desk staff are less than helpful and unprofessional. The many unexpected taxes at the end of the stay was surprising. A tax for historic renovation. Lots of beautiful history but not well maintained, let’s hope the tax actually goes back into the building.

A beautiful hotel filled with pictures of Hollywood history, both from the hotel’s history in the 20s and 30s to the contemporary movies filmed in the hotel. The gym is huge with latest technology equipment, immediately juxtaposed by the pool, which still looks like I imagine it did in the 20s. Highly recommend if you want to stay downtown LA.

Overnight parking was a bit on the pricey side. Bathrooms were super outdated and

Valet check in was quick! Check in was quick despite the long line. Staff were very accommodating. The property was clean, room and bed was very comfortable. I genuinely enjoyed my stay!

Toe nail clippings on the floor in the room, damage to the ceiling, multiple patched holes in the bathroom door, AC worked well, bed was comfortable, and staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, but the room was pretty much as good as motel 6. Also numerous fees like parking, and a "historic preservation charge". I will find an average hotel next time that charges average prices

Ok it’s a beautiful historic piece of architecture, but they are deferring maintenance in a bad way. The windows needed replacement decades ago. So street noice and hot air are leaking in. Carpets too. Elevators were down to 1 out of 6 working and nobody had cleaned the stairs for months at least…clearly not intended for guest use. And really, no floral arrangements would be better than dusty fakes —but I think I do expect nice floral arrangements at this price point. Visit the beautiful bar or have tea in the rendezvous room but stay elsewhere.

The lobby is magnificent and antique.

My daughter and I stayed at the Biltmore for the IPOP talent summit - we were treated so nicely by the staff! The hotel itself is packed full of history and charm…what a treat! Thank you!

The self-parking garage can be a little tight, especially when driving up and around the different levels, but there is still enough room as long as you take your time. Other than that, we had no issues with the parking. One of the best things about the hotel is the location. Since you’re right in Downtown Los Angeles, there are plenty of places nearby within walking distance, especially when it comes to food and other things to do. It’s actually nice being able to leave the car parked and walk around the area, and after enjoying some good food, you can walk some of it off! Overall, we had a great experience. Good amenities, great staff, comfortable rooms, and a very convenient location. I would definitely recommend checking out the Biltmore if you’re looking for a place to stay in Downtown LA.

Terrible experience. Would never return. Cesar in the Dining Room treated me like a criminal as I ate the breakfast included with my room. The housecleaning staff, cleaned but left me without towels. Overall a beautiful architecturally significant building but a terrible staff. They need retraining and quickly to figure out why they do their jobs so poorly.

Magnificent Historic Architecture. Service was excellent. Rooms, bathrooms and hotel hallways need major updating. Walls were thin and could hear neighbors clearly. Linens and towels need to be upgraded - felt cheap. Has potential to be a true luxury hotel with proper TLC.

Staff, room and bartender were great.
