Great place

Would return to the hotel for the staff alone. Every person my party and I interacted with was amazing. From valet escorting me to cars, front desk agents helpful with deliveries and the pool staff always bringing smiles in the hot heat. The architecture in the rooms and throughout the hotel was also an added bonus.

Location was awesome

I booked this trip for my girlfriends birthday and the pool and everything was great, but we had no A/C in our room and I called the staff 5 times and they told me repeatedly that it was working when the thermostat didn’t go below 78 degrees. We didn’t sleep all night cause of how hot it was, and they didn’t offer me any discount or anything when checking out. I wish I would have just not booked the hotel and drove home after the concert. Won’t be returning.

I like how you didn’t have to leave the hotel to get excellent food at the restaurant inside or for the amazing views and good drinks at the roof top bar. Nothing on the hotel but the snobby guests.

Great pool. Clean and well maintained. Plan for expensive parking.

I loved the architecture and style of the rooms. Also love the rooftop bar. I didn’t like the location in downtown LA. It felt a little scary at times to walk alone

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. This boutique hotel is so charming. Unfortunately our room had a couple of cleanliness issue like someone's leftover chipotle still being in the mini fridge. The rooftop pool area and restaurant were also a nice place to spend a little time. However, one morning there had obviously been late night visitors that left a lot of mess. Shoes and clothing scattered around the pool deck, a pack of wet cigarettes, wine bottles, etc. Ha, I guess that's LA for you! Our room was comfortable, the bed slept well, and their water pressure was a thing of beauty. Strong, but not painful! I would stay here again.

People were very nice and professional

The design is gorgeous. Loved the furniture, decor, etc. so Instagram-worthy. Lots of different spots to explore from the roof top to the dining room to the cafe. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. There could have been an extra towel bar in the bathroom. And the shower drained slowly.

Overall the hotel is chic and cool. It is an older building and has a lot of history - which my wife and I enjoyed learning about. I highly recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and a lot of amenities. We wanted to use the pool, but didn't have the time to. There are some things that need serious updating - including, but not limited to the carpets in the hotel. They are old, and musty - and the building does give off a musty vibe. It didn't feel clean in that sense.

Need another weekend back here asap!

Gorgeous property with beautifully appointed room with a Comfy bed. I love the artful lobby restaurant and bar area.
