Hilton Garden Inn LAX Los Angeles Airport

I waited for approximately 45 minutes for the shuttle from the airport terminal. Yes, it was a busy time. At one point I even watched a shuttle drive-by in the far lane, though in fairness, it might have been full. The shuttle itself (which served multiple) was grubby and did not reflect well on the hotel. With this unpromising introduction, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my room, including the bed and bedding. It was clean, up to date and very comfortable. But after 20 hours of travel, not knowing how long I would have to stand there in the exhaust fumes was very frustrating. ( I was on the shuttle with another guest who had been standing at her terminal for an hour.) If I had known what kind of a wait I was in for, I could have taken an Uber. This morning I had a pleasant shuttle ride, albeit standing, with a very cheerful driver.

Picked this hotel due to quality of the renovated rooms, had a great customer rating, has a free shuttle from LAX and is located right next to LAX car rental terminal so made a great place for a first night after a flight into LAX.

The Shuttle from LAX to the hotel was terrible. The driver was rude, disrespectful and flat out should not be a driver. Drove like we were in the movie Speed. She made a mother with her infant strapped to her chest fall when she started driving before people exited the bus. Then she refused to drive the rest of us to the hotel (which we didn’t want to be on the bus anymore). She is the absolute worst person to be welcoming people to LA. And this was during World Cup!!

Room was clean but quiet noisy being next to the road. I feel like they could have sound-proofed it better. Staff was nice and helpful during a late check in. Slight issue with the shower handle but we made it work. Unfortunately the noise from the road outside our room would lead me to not stay here again.

Brianna at the front desk was very helpful. She accommodated me right away!

Great staff. Great location, the only issue is the elevators. They take forever, and needing a key to go to the rooftop sucks.

Parking sucks, is limited, and expensive. Also ice machine didn't work on our floor. The room is nice though

She might be manager, but she has attitude. I felt discrimination, I don’t mind, but you are part of Hilton, better to train her well.

Clean room. TV did not have many channels. Other than that is was great!

Fine for a room but regretted staying so close to airport. Parking garage was biggest downer, everytime I was exiting there was confused cars in front of me making it a delay before staff would eventually come out and solve issue so we could all leave. Staff was great, room was fine.

I didn't like that I prepaid a rate that was stated as "total including tax and fees" but I was later charged a "mandatory fee" of $13 on top of the supposed total charge I already paid.

Clean room, personable and helpful staff. Excellent airport location and shuttle service. Close to several food establishments.

please don't stay at this hotel. There was one girl at the front desk who was extremely sweet and helped us so much with everything. Besides that I do not recommend this hotel. Their shuttle drivers are extremely rude and the shuttles are packed. No one helps you to move luggages. I rather pay extra and take a uber to the airport or back. The hotel also does not offer any free parking. It's $60 a night so please keep that in mind. I did not have a good experience here. We asked for our room to be clean multiple times ( we stayed for a week) they cleaned it the third day after having to ask again. This location is also very far from the LA area and hollywood etc. please stay away from the shuttle!!

The room was clean and beds comfortable. The only complaint was the coffee maker did not work; and parking was very expensive.

Nice hotel! Had to wait about 5 minutes at the front desk for staff to show up to check us in. Beyond that the room was nice. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were not full enough for both of us to use. Bar and staff were nice. It was great to have the shuttle service. I would stay here again when we come to LA.
