Very good

Very good facility for the price Not enough bathrooms

Very dirty, I got bitten by a lot of mosquitos. No A/C . Some rooms are occupied by local homeless folks. This shouldn't be running as a hostel. No A/C . Windows no screen. It's dirty. Very

Poor

The price Had I known, I would’ve never even booked once with this spot. But it was too late and the price was fitting so I stuck with it. This is an ILLEGAL HOSTEL! Not registered with LA County, state of CA, nor city of LA. Roaches, dirty, people living in the bunk beds FOR YEARS, mattresses are dirty and stained (big brown & red stains), no toilet paper EVER. Some of the guests LIVE THERE FULL time. I am not joking! They made tents in their bunk beds!!! And the manager of the property won’t let guests stay more than 12 days, he pushes you out if you speak up on roaches, dirtiness, etc. Hostel is extremely poorly maintained and manager discriminates. He shows favoritism based on who is satisfied with how dirty the place is and was so angry that he didn’t even want to let me fulfill my already booked stay because I requested people’s help with the roaches in the house since they live there and manager is only present once every 2-3 days. For your information: MANY people have been living there for years!!! Yes, in the hostel’s beds living there for years!!! Ultimately, I wasn’t going to say anything on how poorly managed & poorly maintained this property is because I felt bad but the manager was so mean to me on the phone and told me I could no longer stay because I “complained to people about the place”. I JUST ASKED FOR HELP WITH CLEANING AND ROACHES and he put me out IN THE STREETS after I had a legitimate reservation!!!!! I was so scared & so sad!!! I went straight to the airport cause I had no other option at this point!!! Now, I’m actually going to openly speak up & leaving this review to tell everyone (DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOU WELL & IT IS DIRTY & INFESTED TOO!)

Brilliant hotel. Great price. Friendly staff and neighbours in the dormitory. Would recommend to anyone who is hesitant. Nothing. Everything was above what I expected having looked at other reviews

The price Oh boy. I normally don't write negative reviews but this posting is not truthful so I felt I had to say something. The pictures are not accurate in any capacity as to what the hostel actually looks like. Walls/floors are dirty/scuffed. The kitchen and bathroom are not clean or kept up with. Bed in the dorm is very lumpy and old. Door to female dorm is broken (could be a massive safety issue with the wrong clientele). There is wifi (yay?) but you have to ask the other guests for the info because the posted info on the router and name is wrong. Luckily all the other guests I met were either friendly or quiet otherwise I would not have felt safe here on top of everything else (one girl in the dorm helpfully pointed out to be careful around my bed area and not keep things on the floor because "that's where the roaches come in"... excuse me, what?). Especially as a woman traveling alone I do not recommend. Yes the price is very enticing, but it's not worth the entertaining stories to stay here, sorry.
