Tilt Hotel Universal-Hollywood, an AGA Collection Hotel

Easy parking 5 min from universal studios. Helpful and nice staff.

Clean & spacious room, plenty of space for family, parking was very easy

The staff at check-in were friendly, and the location was convenient, about 20 minute walk to City Walk. However, our room had some maintenance issues, including mold in the room corner, peeling paint, and a broken electrical cord and the pool was not heated, as stated. I've included photos so future guests can see what we experienced.

This hotel was super close to Universal Studios which is why we picked it and the staff was super friendly but there was a cockroach in our bathroom sink… yuck!

My room was very clean, but needed more lighting. I paid a chunk for 4 nights. Wished they provided breakfast.

The air filters were not cleaned. When we entered the room, the room smelled. The towels also smelled bad. There was not enough light in the room, especially when the paint was dark. Parts of the floor was colored with black crayon or marker. The drawers and cupboards were scratched badly. We had booked 2 rooms, 1 room had an AC that didn’t work. Overall the room was not maintained well.

Rooms are old and some furniture was broken or missing legs! Smell old

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed there whenever we visit the theme parks... we keep coming back. Excellent service, a very clean hotel, and everyone is very friendly.

Good and clean hotel, and helpful staff. Good proximity (15 min walk) to Universal Studios Hollywood. Everything is good except that there's no food outlet available on-site, but they do provide complimentary drinks/coffee/tea. There is also a bus stop (Cahuenga/Barham) just right outside the hotel with a bus (222) going to/from Hollywood Boulevard in only 10-12 minutes. Great stay overall!

This place was great and very clean! The only downside was they charged for parking I think parking should be included with the stay. Safe and quiet and 5 minutes to Universal Studios. Staff were very nice!

Lobby isn’t very inviting, the lighting, walls and carpet are dark. They have a bar but it’s never open and no food is served there only a self serve juice, coffee or water station. Toiletries provided smelled like a pinecone.

Probably would not stay here again. The room smelled musty as soon as you walked in. There was hair on the shower walls. The bathroom fan did not help with the shower steam. Pool was very small and very cold. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Friendly staff. Few minutes to Universal Studios and the hollywood sign outlook. Close to freeway.

Staff was great! When booking it sounded as if there were some grab and go breakfast items offered but the only thing they had was a coffee/hot water machine and juice machine available all hours. Starbucks and pizza place across the street were good options though.

The photos are misleading and outdated as we're the rooms and facilities. We also killed a roach in our room! I feel duped

Mostly clean No amenities at all. No breakfast option. Pool no more than a large hot tub. Overpriced

We arrived at 3:30 and our room still wasn't ready. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and recommended restaurants where we could eat until our room was ready. He offered us free water as well. The pool area could use some upgrading - cleaning up the concrete around the pool. It wasn't inviting. It served its purpose for the one night we stayed there.
