Although the rooms are large and spacious, there’s no hairdryer the coffee pots don’t work. The downstairs bar was not open to accommodate guests. The outside where you have to catch an Uber ride was loaded with trash and wet in front of the building. The on-site barber is not on site. You have to schedule in advance.

The room was amazing and the staff was very kind.

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, as there were several issues that I feel should be addressed. There was no safe in the room, which was a major concern, especially when traveling with passports. We were staying near Universal Studios, and the last thing you want is to have to carry your passports with you while going on the rides because there is nowhere secure to leave them. The room appeared to have been recently renovated, but the bathroom door did not close properly, possibly because of the fresh paint on the door. The cleanliness was also disappointing. There was a lot of hair on the bed, in the corners of the bathroom floor, and on the vanity countertop, which was really unpleasant. The shower drain was also clogged, and the water did not drain quickly. Another issue was the noise. After a long day at Universal Studios, we came back to the room hoping to rest, but there were very loud footsteps and noises coming from the third floor. At first, I thought it might have been children running around, but the noise started again around 5 a.m., which woke us up. I'm not sure if there was still construction or renovation happening, but either way, it was very disruptive. Overall, it seems like the hotel has made an effort to renovate the rooms, but the cleanliness, maintenance issues, lack of a safe, and excessive noise really affected our stay. For the price we paid, I expected a better overall experience.

Great location. It´s easy to walk to Universal Studios.
-
The blanket in my room is shedding fibers all over the bed and my skin — I can’t sleep.
-
I Expected more, especially considering the price

The hotel did its job, it was well kept and the staff were helpful and friendly. The carpet and paint could use a revamp and the shower was tricky to figure out. Although it was close walk to the Universal shuttle, the neighborhood was a little sketchy to walk through on the way back at night. Overall it served its purpose for a decent price.

Under remodeling, dog park next door which parking seems to be shared

Location, bar availability, beds were comfortable Furniture is looking worn. Bad lighting in the room.
-
I loved the free happy hour drink and 2 free offer bottles. The only con was that the shower water was barely warm :/
-
Está muy bien el hotel nos dieron bebidas de cortesía y pues está cerca el trenecito que lleva a Universal
-
Can walk to universal which is good.

I love the guy that helped me out with the check in. He was amazing and i hate that i can’t remember his name. The room was perfect.
-
So impressed!! The room was great! Spacious. Couple minutes from Universal. Everything about the place and people was a pleasant surprise.
-
The hotel was nice inside but the bar and bartender made the stay worth it. They give you 2 free beverages of your choice. It was close to the shuttles for Universal Studios. I would stay here again.

The reception area had a sign for a self serve coffee bar. I went down in AM for a cup of Joe and carafe was empty, so Keurig was nearby and I inserted a pod but device lacked water. I went to front desk explaining the situation and was informed Keurig was for employees only and coffee had to be created exclusively by employees. What about any of this was self serve? She made me feel like it was a major inconvenience for her to provide me a lousy cup of coffee. I got two free drink coupons upon check-in. Those and location were the best things about this overpriced hotel.

The hotel is under construction so place is alittle ruff .Also be aware they charge for parking and an additional hotel fee when you book through Expedia . So it’s not really a deal when another $60 is added to your charge .
-
Pool is way out of no where in the parking lot. And it’s not a pool, more like a hot tub
-
Location was great! Very close to public transit

Room had a cracked sink that was leaking when used. A/C unit was extremely loud and barely cooling. Upon getting in the room found a finger nail on a shelf in the bathroom. Painted was missing or chipping off. Showers had no pressure and couldn’t isolate the rain head or the wand sprayer to get pressure
