Walkable to Universal Studios, but beware there is a giant hill to walk up. It can be avoided by taking the shuttle outside the NBC building (I never avoided it). The parking spaces are microscopic, and the night staff is selective about whom they call to move vehicles if they aren’t parked between the lines, so make sure to fold your mirrors.

When we arrived, there was no available parking. The parking lot is extremely small, with only about a dozen spaces, so my fiancé went inside to ask where we could park. We were told to park across the street because it was “free all-day parking.” The surrounding area already felt a little sketchy, so we weren’t very comfortable leaving our vehicle there. We later found out it was transit parking with no security cameras, which made us even more uneasy. The woman we spoke with at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming and could have had better customer service. On a positive note, the gentleman who checked us in later was very kind and helpful. The room itself was by far the smallest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. The bed was right in front of the door, there was no closet, only a small metal clothing rack with a few hangers, and the room had just a tiny table with one chair. Since there was only one chair, we had to take turns eating our dinner, and by the time I got to my dinner it was cold. The one highlight of our stay was the pizza place next door, it was excellent. Unfortunately, the shower had no hot water, only barely lukewarm water. Between the uncomfortable room, the parking situation, and the lack of hot water, we decided to leave at 3:00 a.m. instead of staying the rest of the night.

The bed was so hard we didn’t sleep. They entered room when not asked too. Parking is for compact vehicles only. Only one, yes one handicap parking stall…

Very small but a nice place to stay .

One negative? No bedside lamps, just overhead recessed lighting that is very bright (like daylight bulbs). Had to open the bathroom door a crack with the light on in there to help us see as we went to bed.

I think you need a dresser in the room and your blanket needs to be washed. Thank you.
