Value Inn Hollywood

Upon sheck in it really felt like this was a pay by hour motel. Would not recommend and the area is undesirable

I knew I was going to arrive past midnight. It would be nice if there was a phone number so I could have alerted the staff. There was a helpful manager so I was able to check in.

Simple and fast check in process. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable and an extra thicker blanket was provided in the room, which was nice. Only one roll of toilet paper was available, and it wasn't even a new one. I was on the first floor, as requested and they accommodated properly, but sounds from the second floor were very present, no noise insulation. Limited parking space.

The location was really the only decent thing about it! I paid in advance and told the manager that I had to do so! He talked over me, would not listen. Denied any space for conversation! Again dominated the conversation with his talking. Then, after checking into the room. Knocked and asked me to come to the office to refund me the money he had charged after discoving that. In fact, my payment had already been collected through Booking.com. Also, there was horrible stomping from the room above me and random characters, wondering through the parking lot. The towels wore out fabric indicated usage of thousands of guests and terrible repetitious bleaching! Nasty!

Great location and price. It was clean and had everything we needed to visit and sleep afterwards You can hear the rest of the guests walking through the hallway

Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. The bed was too hard. It barely bent when you sat down. The entrance to the property was very narrow.and not clearly marked. Missed it the first time.

The staff was super helpful, friendly and kind. The room was clean. For the price it is an awesome option. Even though I manage to park in the property every night, there is no enough actual parking spaces for all the cars.

Location was really good. And it having a fridge was good. A bit tight parking. A microwave would be good & wash clothes would be good, it only had 3 bath towels. But we came prepared. Over all it was a good place for the value. We will be back April 9-11th.

Free parking is very good and walk about 30 min can arrive Hollywood area. Drive to universal or Hollywood sign are close. Smell very bad in the room and the window from the room look so broken

Very good cleaning, good price, but I don't recommend the downstairs rooms, the first night was excellent but the second night it seemed like they had horses on top of my room, but overall I really liked it

Convenient area plenty of restaurants around and affordable room prices

2 queen beds were a little cramped for the room. Area not too safe.

Staff is friendly Simple but does the job

Man at the desk was friendly. Close to CHLA. Location is awful, parking lot is extremely small, is one way with the tiniest entrance off a busy street and apparently doubles as public parking so parking isn’t guaranteed. Pretty sure the neighboring room was running drugs or similar activity as they were in and out all night long slamming the room door and car doors. I didn’t feel safe and continually checked on my vehicle all night long to make sure it wasn’t being tampered with or stolen. Toilet paper was a half roll with no backup roll. Front desk is not staffed 24 hours. Beds were ok, nothing fancy and not enough pillows.
