The furnishings were spare, but adequate. Good air conditioning

Cons: No parking, Hotel gives you a pass and you have to find parking in the neighborhood. I had to park a block away. Hotel very outdated. Cleaning was poor. The toilet had stains. Hair on bathroom floor. Lastly, you can’t lock door from inside. You can only use door swing latch.

Booked one night for the wrong date. Contacted them immediately to rebook a different date. $200 gone (or stolen depending on how you look at it).

Nothing by Expedia or the property that this is an issue when making reservations. I canceled my reservation upon arrival. Expedia needs to do a better job of vetting properties and their amenities and possible issues at these properties. Closest we were able to park was about 2 blocks away so we could even contact the property. Do not recommend the Wilshire Crest as a place to stay.

We love the location, places to eat, metro station near by, also they allowed us to have early check in .

Quaint hotel with an old vibe atmosphere. Unexpected in LA, I'd stay there again

It was more like a motel.

I walk with a mobility aid (cane) and chose this hotel because it was listed as single level. It is NOT single level and on check in I was told there were no rooms on the ground floor. Fortunately I could get up the stairs with my cane but it was really difficult for me to carry my suitcase up the stairs and I was not offered help. When I was approaching the hotel a woman with a walker outside asked me if I could ask the front desk to “unlock the ramp” so she could enter to check in. Wildly non-accessible. Outside of this issue however the room was clean and well maintained if a little dated. Even though he didn’t offer to help with my luggage the front desk was mostly kind and helpful and stored my suitcase in a closet ahead of check in time so I could go shopping without carrying it around. The locks on the door were traditional key locks and difficult to open so the man from the front desk had to come upstairs to show me. If accessibility weren’t an issue I would give 4/5 stars and probably stay again because it is conveniently located to the El Rey Theatre (15 min walk) and in a quiet area. But the accessibility issues take me out.

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. We were also impressed by the staff's hospitality. We arrived about two hours before check-in, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The housekeeping team adjusted their schedule to prepare our room early, allowing us to check in ahead of time. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Another great perk was the 24/7 Keurig coffee station in the lobby, along with complimentary green and black tea. The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast selection. There weren't many healthy options available. Most of the offerings consisted of packaged cereal, cookies, snack bars, and instant oatmeal, which tended to be high in sugar. While yogurt was available, it was only the fruit-on-the-bottom variety, which also contains quite a bit of added sugar. It would be great to see a few healthier additions, such as toast, cream cheese, peanut butter, and jelly. These can still be convenient packaged items while offering guests more balanced choices. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. The location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and food options within walking distance.

Great area to be in while on vacation. Very helpful and kind staff. They provided car permits for parking. Loved the room we stayed in. Multiple restaurants and tourist attractions nearby.

The rooms are basic but are clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

No parking on site, staff member showed us where we could park on the street and gave permits. But they didn’t explain that the car had to be moved by 9 am so we got a ticket $93. They promised to pay it so hopefully we won’t need to pay. Room was very nice, remodeled and spacious, facing court yard. At the same time Entrance and hallways had smelly and dirty carpet so first impression of the property wasn’t very nice. Breakfast was only sweet stuff so we could not eat anything there. Water, coffee, tea and yogurts were available all day long. Location is great, walking distance to a very nice plaza with many good food options as well as few museums. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Very helpful staff and nice place to stay

Staff was super nice and helpful, they even had our room ready a little early! Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was prepackaged pastries, generic cereal, yogurt and coffee. There’s a great little cafe less than a block away, so no biggie there. Parking is street parking, but it’s free, make sure to display the permit they give you, walking distance to some incredible museums! So happy we stayed here.

Our room had no towels when we arrived. The toilet also did not flush. There was no parking available.

Everything i needed was available at this budget hotel. Large spacious rooms and good shower. Very good location . Rooms are dated but thats what you pay for....
