Little Tokyo Hotel

Very convenient for the price

Liked the staff. The easy going home like atmosphere. Modest with freedom to move . Small kitchen . The shared bathroom was always clean and available. I never had to wait.

The bed was comfortable. There was no noise or disturbance but easy access to the street and restaurants and malls in little Tokyo There was no breakfast, but anarew for cooking and fresh water both hot and cold. Felt welcoming

It's great for traveling on a budget but not ideally for a clean hotel.

They had no air conditioning and it’s just a tiny room with a bed in it no TV and when you open up the curtains, you see a wall with another window and then if you have to use the bathroom, you had to go down the hall to a community bathroom Same with the shower.👎 For $135 a night was not worth it. I’ll never go back there again.

Shared bath, shared toilet, shared kitchen, coined operated laundry. No air conditioner. Only fan. Location is perfect because it is very closed to public transportation for traveler who don’t want to rent a car in LA.

This property is old, there's no air conditioning, no parking, and shared bathrooms. Spend the extra money and stay at a property with modern amenities we all expect. I will say the location is great, but that does not outweigh the negatives.

Definitely a good hotel for solo trips and if you are on a budget. It is a shared restroom and shower. However, it's at little tokyo and there is parking in the back of the hotel.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to my needs. They did not require a deposit for my stay and that helped me because i was running short on money getting home. I had missed my flight and was not refunded. So, this put me in a bind. The kind gentleman there was very friendly and understanding. We had a room by the street and opened the windows to get cool air. The room had a oscillating fan which suited us well. There is 2 shared restrooms on each floor and a shower. They supplied handsoap and shampoo. A refrigerator is offered in the dining area with microwave. Tables and chairs are available from 6am to 11:30pm. I would definitely come back again for the no frills stay. It's very safe and secure of you are a lady traveling by yourself. Closed circuit monitoring is 24 hours a day. Zero tolerance for drugs, alcohol, or smoking in the rooms. You will be asked to leave and be permanently banned.

We loved our stay at the Little Tokyo. It's an old building, and charming; the staff were very helpful; and the location can't be beat.

The staff was helpful and kind! The place was cute and functional. It had a nice, clean, homey vibe that felt more welcoming than something like a Holiday Inn.

Most amenities listed online were not available. Rooms are dark and sad.

The location is ideal for staying near Little Tokyo area. At the time of staying, there was no a/c, but owner did mention this before completing check-in. Showers and toilets are shared for the floor, however they are very clean. There is a shared kitchen and common room, I did not use these so comment on my end. Overall for the price, it is an ideal stay if you’re by yourself and on a budget.

Great location downtown-Shower and bath on my floor had 2 showers and 2 baths for around 10-15 guests. Thats my only real complaint. I was thinking more like it was going to be shared with next room over....not boarding room style.The room itself was clean and I tend to like more authentic places like this one. I give it 3.5....

Terrific charming hotel

Solo trip, mostly just needed a spot to sleep. This was that and proved to be very conveniently located. Wouldn’t recommend these rooms for more like than one.
