Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock - Downtown Civic Center

The front desk lady was nice but everything else was not great it was concerning to say the least

This hotel is the worst one I have stayed in, its nowhere close to be legally to be opened for business. The health department need to do a visit

The front desk staff was as helpful as they could be. This hotel is in complete disrepair. They gave us a key to check the room before checking us in. We reserved a king, non smoking room. They showed us a 2 full room that smelled like an ashtray, the mirror was shattered, tv was ripped off the wall, ceiling was falling down, bathroom was moldy…. The list goes on. The manager waited until the lobby until we can back and then disappeared. After an internet search we found the property was just purchased in bankruptcy court. The front desks staff informed us they were to be closed in 30days and that day alone they had canceled 40 reservations. Dealing with Expedia was a nightmare too. They use a 3rd party to book and that company wasn’t answering at 3pm on a Friday. I still have yet to receive my refund. Unfortunately for me everything in town was 300% higher due to parents weekend. Hopefully the new owners clean that place up

The ac was very nasty the food in the morning was hard and your employees are very rude and did not want to refill the milk jug

The property was in bad shape & very disgusting. Cockroaches crawling everywhere in the room. It was a nightmare. This facility is not safe!

I took pictures because it was so unbelievably gross. I was going to upload them because I am not sure anyone would believe me. The pictures in Expedia do NOT match the condition of the hotel inside or out.

We had to find a different hotel because they did not have clean rooms available at check-in. I would like to have a full refund for this.

He was rude. He said miss where do u want me to get towels when theres none clean. Worst ever... I have pics

Place was disgusting. the pictures are NOT anything what the place looks like. shower was filthy and tub stained, there was a filthy dirty and ripped sofa, a broken lamp, the tv didnt work and wasnt even mounted. the hanging braces were stuck behind the dresser to hold to tv up. i absolutely had to cancel my reservation because i could not stay here.

We had to go to a different hotel.

This hotel is garbage. Roach infested. Broke stair way. Stain infested.

Awful!!!!

The room was dirty, toilet unflushed, and the room smelled of smoke. The door to the adjacent room was broken open. Vinyl base boards were falling off onto the floor. The add said that the rooms had been recently renovated. That was definately NOY the case. We did not feel safe. We did not stay at this hotel.

It looks like I was staying in a construction site. There is no toilet paper no tissues the bathroom look unfinished. The door had about an inch gap where I could see outside literally was terrified to stay and did not stay the night. Drove five hours home.

Yes, there were cockroaches everywhere , the TV didn't work, the staff was rude, the shower didn't have a handle, the ac didn't work, and the pool wasn't open.

The room part was okay, but the bathroom was gross. There were cigarette ashes in the sink and there was no toilet paper or towels.
