Overton Hotel and Conference Center

Room was clean, a bit dated but overall good. The pool was closed when we stayed which was a bit of a bummer. But all in all a good property to stay at. Really close to Texas Tech campus.

Free airport shuttle-pickup was great-departure so so. Driver was not friendly, refused to wear his safety belt -so heard the ding ding the entire way. On the upside the server at the bar was friendly, kept checking on us. Overall okay hotel. Service hit and miss.

**Beware** avoid staying at this hotel. Room was dirty, when we brought it up to the hotel staff they said that there wasn’t much they could do. We ended up staying at another hotel for the remainder of our visit.

Absolutely stunning gotel.

The property was very nice and the staff truly set it apart from other properties that we have stayed at. It was very clean and a really fun place to stay in Lubbock. Amy at the front desk was awesome as was the bartenders and breakfast staff! Their food was also really good! We will definitely be back!

As is always true, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.

The room was fine, but the shower-tub could use some attention. There were large rust stains in the tub and the corner grout had odd red stains. Also, the hot tub was apparently broken and the outdoor pool (the reason I booked this property) was freezing —abnormal for August in Texas and not particularly enjoyable.

The hotel needs updating. Great location though.

Fantastic location for all things Texas Tech, Rooms are generous and have what you need (refrigerator and Coffee pot). Food is honestly only ok. Had a Steak and it was charred to the point of tasting burnt. Both times I said there were issues with equipment at the Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby so was not able to get a latte. Tried the French toast for breakfast, which was good, but the menu is small. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay with our two pups. The rooms were big and comfortable.

I wish I would had discovered this sooner. All in all the hotel convention center was very nice, and great service in the restaurant. Rooms do need updating.
