Best Western Lubbock Inn

The room seemed somewhat clean until we realized the bathtub, toilet and bathroom floor were definitely not clean. The AC unit apparently leaked because I stepped in front of it in my socks and they got soaking wet instantly. The sink wasnt clean and we kept stepping on stuff that wasnt vacuumed up off of the carpet. I really hope there isnt black mold from the drenched carpet under the AC because we both got ill after the 2nd night sleeping in the room and we were charged almost $300 per night because a Texas Tech game was playing in town. I am very disappointed

I like everything about this place.. we stay here almost every weekend..

I was a bit upset to see the pool closed, but I know pool maintenance is expensive and many hotels are moving away from having an active pool.

Building was old and poor maintained, the room was dirty and the bathroom was nasty.. very limited breakfast with no eggs

It was not a very pleasant stay

Nothing. Hello! I am actually wanting to file a complaint with this property. I was feeling extremely sick during my stay, and didn’t know it could be mild. I ended up bringing my own top sheet, blankets, and pillows because I thought I was allergic to the laundry detergent used on the original bedsheets. As I was fixing the bed, I realized the headboard had mold under it. Also on the ceiling. I’ve been feeling extremely sick because there was mold right next to my head. I ended up going to urgent care and they gave me medication. I spoke to booking.com and the manager Nayna Patel who refused to issue me a refund. I went ahead and contacted the attorney general, Texas department of health, and reported this location to the city. I’m wanting a full refund so that I can stay somewhere else that is safe. Furthermore I am wanting to take legal action, as Nayna Patel, the lady at the front desk has accused me of lying and has failed to provide a safe environment. Attached are the photos of mold and my urgent care visit.

It was just something to sleep at for a few hours so it was fine. Breakfast was ehhhh, the facility is outdated. Lights flicker. It was outdated

The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Nothing It was dirty, there was still a bad pee splashes behind the toilet , it was dirty, some little pieces of trash and a flosser was left behind from the last guest the sheets were old and dirty and very worn. The tissue box kept falling down all night.

Being stopped by staff asking where we were going and our names no other hotels treat you like that!

Bed bugs :( Make you itch :(

I was bitten by bedbugs, and in the morning requested a refund after I showed the staff the marks and video of the bedbugs in my room. The manager and owner did not care and offered nothing.

toilet was broken, hotel overall was very disappointing. We tried to find another hotel; however, everything was booked for graduations. We did not like anything about the hotel. We will not stay there again.
