The front landscaping and lack of guests made it look like the hotel was closed. The sink water barely came out and the plumbing was clearly very old and not well maintained. The staff was helpful and nice and the breakfast was good.

Good location for travel. Elevator didn’t work. Hot tub had a layer of ants on top of the water. Room not fully cleaned, used towels. Trash in the stairwell. Very limited breakfast selection.

All ice machines were broken, no ice was available. The building was run down and NOT in the condition shown online. Even the fountain in front was dry and shut down. Due to a name change, my Expedia reservation could not be found. I had to spend almost an hour trying to get Expedia to communicate with the hotel and find my booking (even though the confirmation had both the old and new hotel name.) Ultimately, did not enjoy this stay!

Main area: I booked, pain and have receipts paid for Wingate by Wyndham. Instead at that address Hotel signs say Country Inn & Suites by Raddison. This is NOT what i paid for. I talked to 3 other customers who were also confused about the sign. 5/14 - Smelled marijuana in front lobby at night by front desk area only Pictures on Expedia are old pictures, not the current condition. Building is dilapidated and run down, heat lamp light in 1st bedroom fire hazzard. Birds inside the building entryway above lobby on the 2nd floor Continental breakfast is horrible and coffee grounds in the coffee both days. Room 122 Stain on couch Rust on bathroom fixtures Son did not stay in room instead slept on step daughters couch Room 124 5/16 People yelling in hallway, for 30 minutes then slammed doors. Room number 101 No hot water. - told had to turn boiler on our side first and then told to let run for 10 minutes No TV channels - told it was the weather but we had wifi Roach in entrance Phone plugged into itself. No way to call 911 in emergency. Broken Window: Broken towel rack, single bar sticking out by toilet dangerous Room 106 Base molding separated exposing Hole in wall Heat lamp installed in main room instead of bathroom Mold Black Mold Rust damage in tub overflow and fixtures Lights out in room

Absolutely terrible experience. The room was dirty, the staff was rude, and nothing looked like the pictures online. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom smelled awful, and the walls were so thin I barely got any sleep. Definitely not worth the money at all. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived at the hotel did. It have my reservation I booked it December totally different name in the building had to call to find the location graduation weekend wanted to charge double to stay at the location.

Staff was rude and no help explaining why they would not honor our reservation. Tried to charge us 3X the price for our room. Our reservation was made in January price gouging was the issue. Will never book this hotel again.

This hotel sold after I booked it and the new owners said they didn’t forward any reservations. We were in town for a concert and all hotels were booked for a very inflated price. Had to sleep in a car. Expedia should have known this was happening.

When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation. We got that sorted out with expedia. My $150ish room was now over $400 per night due to George Strait being in town for 2 nights. They had no rooms with two beds left.So they gave us a room with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. We got to the room and there was no sleeper sofa. Went down and he switched us to another room on the third floor. By the way the elevators weren't working. Got to room number two and the mattress on the sleeper.Sofa was so disgusting.I've seen cleaner mattresses in homeless camps. Tried to call down and let him know, but the phone had no cord. Went down and showed a picture of the mattress so he moved us to yet another room. Sleeper sofa mattress was only slightly better, but the couch raised up in the air when you pulled the mattress out. The front desk guy came up to move us to another room and stayed there while we checked the mattress. This whole time, I was wondering in my head ehy this hotel had rooms available when every other hotel in Lubbock was sold out. And now I knew why. The next morning, after we showered, we discovered that the bathroom floor was gross like it had never been mopped and the shower drained so slowly that after ten minutes between showers the water was still ankle deep.

Not a bad hotel, but there was no toilet paper in our room when we arrived. The elevator and ice machines were broken.

Horrible smell in room! Bathroom was a total mess with wood smashed in ! Didn’t feel safe at all! Half way house next door! Only one staff member at front desk! We didn’t stay and are trying to get our money back! It was 412.00 a night! Unbelievable the hotel said country inn and suites! Very misleading ! False advertising

The room wasn’t ready at 5pm. I had to leave but when I returned at midnight- there were no fresh towels- the linens were half put on the bed and there was no toilet paper. When asked to talk to a manager- one was not available either day.

Nothing "Misty" did not honor our pre-paid reservation booked on 11/17/2025 for 04/23/2026-04/252026. She refused to honor reservation and could not accommodate us. We came in from out of town. We even had to contact local police.

Ill never do business with this hotel chain again.

You do not want to stay here! It’s so bad! It looks nothing like the pictures on their website-I promise!

This is extremely false advertisement. I can’t believe Wyndham would allow their name and brand to be put on here. This place does not meet any standard. I couldn’t find any other room or I would have left. The pictures on the site do not show how poor of condition this is. Beyond remodeling.
