Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock

My room was dirty there was two kid toys in the bed under the sheets. And the ac was working terribly it was so humid in the room

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, would definitely stay here again

Check in took a long time. Found out the pool was closed for maintenance so my kids were bummed.

The hotel was great except our plans were to go swimming and stay in doors, but the pool was not out of order.

I usually try to fair minded and not too picky, but everyone has their limit. The list of things wrong with this place is long. 1 clerk, 6 people in line. credit card machine not working for anyone, so clerk has trouble getting room keys to work since the credit card machine is connected to room key card machine. 1st room - lights didn't work in the bathroom. Tried calling front desk, no answer. Go downstairs to desk and wait 25 minutes to be told Maintenance person leaves at 5pm and isn't on call, so try another room. A/C in that room has trouble getting temp below 80 degrees until 4 hours later (yes, we have a thermometer with our personal clock). Would have been nice to cool off in the pool, but it is "under repairs" although it looks like it works and has water in it. At least half the lights worked in the bathroom and bedroom this time. There was a metal bar protruding from the side of the mattress about shin height that stuck out 3 inches and was hidden by a coverlet. My wife hit her shin on it and has a nasty bruise. The 2 towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth in the bathroom (for 2 people) looked like they had been donated to an animal shelter. I traded them for much nicer and more towels. The breakfast was ok, although no sausage. The coffee was decent. Buyer Beware!!

We came for a funeral and we had to come from another property due to issues. Anyways I should have just rented here at baymount from the beginning. I had rented here before staff are awesome and breakfast is delicious love that I have choices for coffee as well then only thing was pool was not open this time but next time im sure thank you for an awesome stay!!

Don't think we would stay here again but it worked for an overnight trip.

The room was perfect. Very clean, quiet corner of the hallway. Staff was fantastic whenever we checked in and checked out the following morning. It was overall a great experience. I will definitely book this location again the next time we travel through Lubbock

On the flip side, Gargi from the front desk provided great support. The breakfast was decent. Overall this doesn’t look and feel like a Wyndham property at all.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay! It took a while before the room cooled down. The hallway and elevator were so warm, as well. The pool was under maintenance, so we were disappointed in that.

we didn't expect too much, a place to stop on our road trip. Booked here for a couple reasons, pool/hot tub/excercise space - All closed. the room wasn't ready, at 4:30p, we were given a room key and walked into a space that didn't have beds made, trash in trash cans, no towels, dirty toilet. Front desk had no other options. They even told us, when kids groaned about seeing the pool closed sign, that we could book down the street where there is a really nice pool. Ice machine was broken, TV remote didn't work. The highlight, the breakfast coffee machine.

Everything in the description was the complete opposite. No pool it was closed, no arcade, ac did not work. Staff did not want to assist with at least giving me my money worth of comfort. Overall experience was not good do not stay this place was not kid friendly at all

There was nothing nice or clean about this hotel. How does this place have such an high rating?? All the pictures are deceiving and look nothing like that place. Hot tub and pool not open. When asked about pool I was told “just not working today”. The air conditioner in the rooms didn’t work well. Spoke to some other guests that asked if our air conditioner was working because theirs wasn’t working at all. They had the door to their room open to get air from the hallway, which wasn’t any cooler either. Bathrooms were gross, mold in shower. Towels had stains all over them. At one point in the night a dog was barking in a room nearby. I’m pissed that I even spent money there. Avoid at all costs!!
