Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lubbock Southwest, TX

DO NOT STAY HERE! I had reservations here July 1-July 5, 2026. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had made a mistake. The carpet at the front door was disgusting and ratty, and the tile throughout the hotel was so filthy. Upon getting off the elevator, the hallway carpets were so gross, ratty, and stained. Got to our room, and boy was I in for a surprise. The minute I opened the door, I was hit with that sweaty, my clothes haven't been washed in days, smell. That smell was the bed linens. So gross. The towels had the same smell. The bathroom was dirty, and the bathtub was as well. I complained to the front desk, and the girl said all the rooms were the same. I was 6 hours from home with two kids. I could not afford to book at another hotel. We went to Walmart and bought new sheets for the beds and blankets. The next morning, we decided to try the breakfast. Another HUGE mistake. All the juice was watered down, and so was the pancake mix. According to a staff member, they do this to save money. The eggs and sausage were a bust, too. The pool area was gross and dated. I did file a complaint with the health department. Tons of health and safety issues with this hotel. It honestly should be shut down, but that's my opinion. If you are looking for a nice, clean, hotel in Lubbock, this isn't it.

Entire establishment was filthy. Wait staff was rude and uncooperative. Room was not stocked and in fact was missing TV remote. Towels missing and no soap. Shampo and conditioner only. Bathroom sink fixture was broke. Breakfast was horriable. not stocked. Gravy mixed wrong, sausage burt, no pastry, and juice machine was broke and leaking all over. Employees hanging out in guest area messing around while breakfast was not stocked and area a mess.

The staff was kind. The pool was closed down a lil after the kids had jumped in to swim, advised it needed “maintenance” and wouldn’t be available 30 mins to a hr. The rooms were sticky/dusty and dirty. I had to use my they hand sanitizing wipes to clean down the smaller dresser in the room, the lamps and the clock. The carpet was DIRTY, and the bathroom tiles were all cracked,

It was ok place. Breakfast was decent.

House keeping is sub par. Sheets and pillow case had some kind of stain that looked like blood. Made us wonder if clean sheets were not put on beds. Floors could use better cleaning.

Dirty rooms dont stay here

The hotel’s carpet were very dirty and had stains throughout the hotel. Our room had a bad smell. Don’t think we will stay here again.

The hotel property was very filthy, mold in the bathroom stain curtains room rug was all stained specially, the hallway carpet was extremely dirty and unsanitary. Only the front entrance was nice and clean. The first floor hallway ceiling had mold stains, The worst continental buffet. Everything in that hotel was old and outdated. Will not stay there again. Not worth the price very disappointed stay.

Room was not clean, bottle caps left on ground. It was priced high for a dirty room.

We checked in, got our room key and went up. Knew within minutes that we needed to either not stay at the hotel or ask for another room… tiles broken in bathroom, hair on shower walls and a missing bedspread. Also looked like dirty towels were just put back out. It was so gross. We were given another room but it still wasn’t super clean.

For the price the stay was good big room and comfy beds

Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Two young teenage boys were there with their mom - I believe- cleaning rooms without her present. Glad we put a do not disturb sign on our door.

Rooms need to deep clean specially the bathrooms the corners were dirty floor was sticky there was a stain on the blanket the hotel smells weird also the pool was a mess.!!! It was ok when no one was on there but once more people arrived the pool water was everywhere you couldn’t step on the floor because it was flooded the whole room was flooded it was bad.!!!!

Stayed a night, let's say the whole place needs a deep clean, like seriously

Great staff: Armondo!! Clean room & towels. Decent breakfast! Large rooms & reasonable$!

Best in Lubbock for Quality at that Price Range

Hotel is safe and in a convenient location.
