La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock West Medical Centr

This was a nice place; the location was good, and the staff were very nice.

This hotel is ok. It’s older, not sure the elevators were working most of the time we just took stairs. But for older people might be an issue. We couldn’t get more than 2 towels and one wash rag per night with four people even after requesting them multiple times. All of the rooms face the lobby so it’s loud and we woke up multiple times with 3:00 & 4:00 AM parties in the lobby. The room wasn’t very clean when we arrived. All of these these things wouldn’t be huge issues except the hotel raises their prices so high for parent’s weekend. So we paid $1100 for two nights at an old Laquinta. Which drastically changed from when it was reserved several months ago!! We definitely will not stay here again.

Overall my stay here was very good but there were some things I want to point out. All but 2 pieces of pool furniture were ripped and unable to be used. Not sure why they were all still even out there when you can’t even sit on them. So pool furniture definitely needs to be replaced. My only other issues were with the shower. There is no shelf of any kind to place toiletries and the floor of the tub was so slippery that I was worried I would fall.

Clean hotel with great AC. Only complaint was there was a lack of clean linens and we could never get any wash clothes for three days.

Cleanliness & comfort, wonderful staff, Eric was our favorite.He was accommodating, always ready to help, cheerful & kind. Breakfast could be a little better. Gravy’s our favorite but didn’t get it everyday.

Amazing experience

My dad had heart surgery so stayed here as attached to hospital. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing. Otherwise the rooms were run down, poorly repaired, and dirty. I wish I could recommend but the property itself is in serious need of improvements.

The staff was helpful and very willing to let us change our room.. Our room was outside and not secure, there was no gate or any deterrent from people just walking up to my room. Things in the room were falling apart, and the door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. The bed was also basically on the floor.. We were going to tough it out for the night but there was a salamander in the room.

Good hot breakfast with multiple options. Pet area was adequate but poop bags empty and bin overflowing areas of lawn in the pet area are infested with sandbur which prevents pets from entering on foot. carpets in hotel main area are filthy.

. everything was really nice. i liked the layout of the building. nice staff, the guy on duty was very helpful. they also have an outside pool which was nice n refreshing. would stay here again :)
