Every night we would have to go to the front desk to reactivate the keycards to get into our room. Rooms had a strange odor. Price was great though.

Rooms are older, need upgrades. Doors are not too safe, latches are loose. Representative was very nice and returned the cash deposit that is required.

Here's the deal. We drove from Phx, AZ to Lubbock, TX for a family emergency. We didn't need anything fancy, the pics of the website are so deceiving. The beds look just like that but the other pictures must be from a completely different hotel. The floor is nasty, do not walk bare feet. The walls are nasty & very dirty. The bathroom was nasty too, black ring around the toilet, the shower was yellowish like it hasn't been clean. I went to buy products to clean it because I needed to shower. Brought some cheap shower shoes because dang I was afraid for my feet. The water pressure sucked, water went everywhere but where it needed to go. Let's not talk about the A/C. We checked in at 3 pm, had to pay a CASH DEPOSIT on top of what we paid online. So had to go get CASH before we could check in. After we paid the deposit I wanted a refund. They said no refunds. Anyways back to the A/C. We lowered it on to the lowest temp possible. Left for 4 hours came back at 7 pm. It was still HOT 🔥, went to Walmart at 715 pm to buy a fan because damn we were sweating. The property itself is literally falling apart. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Not sure how this place qualifies for the family of Wyndham hotels and resorts. Someone from their Corp office really needs to come out and experience this place in person. They would run thr bulldozer themselves. Go somewhere else.

We arrived late and were not expecting to have to deposit cash. Then upon opening our room we only had 2 pillows. It was after midnight and the staff advised they had no other pillows. How does 4 people sleep with 2 pillows

We booked the last room on Expedia and paid in full as we were in Lubbock for the George Strait concert and the city and up to 1 hr travel was sold out! When we arrived at the Travel Lodge we were told they gave our room to someone else but they had another room that they don’t usually rent out that we could stay in. We had no other choice but to accept because we were 5 hours from home and we could not find another room in Lubbock! It was horrible!! Broken window, mold in the tub/shower, holes in the wall and the list goes on and on! We asked for a discount but were told they couldn’t because we booked thru a 3rd party (Expedia). We paid over $200 for this mess. So disappointed in Expedia that they would even partner with a hotel of this status.

The room was dirty and in very bad condition. Workers were rude! No ice machine or tv remote. Bathroom door was broken and couldn’t be closed

Nice staff

Clean room & great value, but you must pay $ 50 cash deposit when checking in. No exceptions & you must have deposit receipt to get cash back @ checkout. Suggest this be noted on Expedia as all of us checking in were not aware of this.

Neither of our lamp lights worked, the tv didn’t work, the toilet lid had been taped together, water was leaking out of the mini fridge onto the floor, the security latch had been taken off the door, and there were other issues as well. A fair chunk of the rooms were not able to be rented out because of broken glass windows. The guest laundry was out of order and looked to have been so for some time. The hotel has an unadvertised cash only security deposit which I have never heard of. In general, the property is run down and does not feel safe whatsoever.

I checked in with great apprehension, then checked out immediately the more I saw the condition of the overall exterior of the property, the lack of safety with the door—anyone could kick the door in—and the lack of cleanliness. I turned in my key and never stayed. The owner should take more pride. I lost my money but slept in peace somewhere else instead.

It looked so run down that I was afraid to stay there.
-
The staff was friendly. The property was rundown. Phone in room didn’t work. Feels unsafe. Property poorly maintained.
-
It has a nice first floor floorplan which made it convenient with parking right in front of your room

When we arrived, i was not sure if we were in the correct location because it looked like an abandoned motel. The windows of the motel were broken. There was noone staying there. We saw a few homeless hanging out, outside the doors. And the only car we saw had busted windows. It looked overall like an abandoned motel. Looked nothing like the pictures on expedia. We come into our bedroom & there is no chain lock. There is mold on the walls & on the AC unit. The beda sheets had black stains and the pillows looked used. The bathroom had black smudging on the bottom of the bathtub & that carpet arpund the room was sticky & damp. It looked like it was abandoned & furniture was placed. The room was a nonsmoke room but smelt heavily of cigarettes. Quality was absolutely disgusting. I asked the desk representative if we would be able switch our rooms since literally homeless was hanging out, outside the door we were going to be staying. I told him we would feel more comfortable & he said "Umm.. No". Then proceeded to tell me we would need to provide documentation for my service dog.. like Sir. Legally No i dont have too. & also yall are worried about an animal deposit for a room that wasnt sleepable.

This place is not clean at all. Walked into our non smoking room, and all my family could smell was cigarette. The beds and pillows were stained. Also found hairs all over the beds along with bed bugs. Over all a very unpleasant experience. Checked out of that place as soon as possible. I would advise not to stay at this place.

Service used to be really good but this stay was not good at all. Only one girl was nice that worked the front desk, the heater didn’t work and they did not provide any extra blankets, out hotel door was hard to shut and it took several times for us to get it to latch shut and lock, breakfast was very disappointing
