Travelodge by Wyndham Lubbock

It was very messy, every night I was getting bit by little bugs that caused an itch. The floors, and drawers were dirty. It needs to get removed from Expedia.

Moved out of our first room since the beds had black spots on them, argued with the front desk that some of it was bugs and some of it was things out of the AC unit. The rest of the stay was fine. Did not receive the $50 incidentals fee until I called my bank and had it disputed a week after the stay.

They didn't have breakfast, our stay was very bad. The staff was very poor. When we got to the location, know one was their. We waited outside for about 15 minutes before they arrived. The front desk clerk told me that I couldn't smoke in the rooms. That if I did smoke on the property and went in the foom smelling like smoke, they would keep my 50 dollar deposit. The room smelled bad, very bad. They had holes all over the wall, the toilet tissue holder was broking, and the rugs was very dirty and stained. The sheets looked like they haven't been washed, the refrigerator had a smell to it. And to top it off, I still haven't gotten my refund back and I know for a fact the room didn't smell like smoke at all. This was the worst of the worst hotel for anybody to stay at. I have pictures of everything also. The attitudes, the smell of the room and the filthy restroom and the rugs.

Needs a lot of work!! We will never stay again until repairs are made, very run down

This hotel needs work to be done. The TV was not operating because it was not a TV but a Roku and required whether antenna/cable or registration with Roku. The A/C was only giving out fan not cool air. The staff did not know the condition of the A/C before giving the room key to the host and could not operate the Rocku. The refrigerator is a very old unit and barely can keep food cold and had no freezer. Beside these three issues other aspect of the hotel was acceptable. I only needed a room to stay the night and was able to go without a TV and not working A/C.

The air conditioning was not great. We had to shower late at night to cool off and the tub was dirty.

Front desk didn’t know how to do anything i did have to wait until someone showed up to check me in. i asked front desk if i could park infront of my room she stated yes then i had a psycho who lived next door bang on my door demanding not asking to move my car so she could park there. i told her no and she went to go get the manager. She did ask me to move after she told me yes i could park there. anyway i didn’t move. no breakfast here. it was clean in my room.

Every night we would have to go to the front desk to reactivate the keycards to get into our room. Rooms had a strange odor. Price was great though.

Rooms are older, need upgrades. Doors are not too safe, latches are loose. Representative was very nice and returned the cash deposit that is required.

I have nothing that I don't like

Here's the deal. We drove from Phx, AZ to Lubbock, TX for a family emergency. We didn't need anything fancy, the pics of the website are so deceiving. The beds look just like that but the other pictures must be from a completely different hotel. The floor is nasty, do not walk bare feet. The walls are nasty & very dirty. The bathroom was nasty too, black ring around the toilet, the shower was yellowish like it hasn't been clean. I went to buy products to clean it because I needed to shower. Brought some cheap shower shoes because dang I was afraid for my feet. The water pressure sucked, water went everywhere but where it needed to go. Let's not talk about the A/C. We checked in at 3 pm, had to pay a CASH DEPOSIT on top of what we paid online. So had to go get CASH before we could check in. After we paid the deposit I wanted a refund. They said no refunds. Anyways back to the A/C. We lowered it on to the lowest temp possible. Left for 4 hours came back at 7 pm. It was still HOT 🔥, went to Walmart at 715 pm to buy a fan because damn we were sweating. The property itself is literally falling apart. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Not sure how this place qualifies for the family of Wyndham hotels and resorts. Someone from their Corp office really needs to come out and experience this place in person. They would run thr bulldozer themselves. Go somewhere else.

We arrived late and were not expecting to have to deposit cash. Then upon opening our room we only had 2 pillows. It was after midnight and the staff advised they had no other pillows. How does 4 people sleep with 2 pillows

Dirty

Location was the only good thing about the stay. The place was awful! Bugs in the room, very loud air conditioner, and curtain didn’t even close properly, I had to use my own hairclip to keep it closed.
