Super 8 by Wyndham Lumberton NC

It’s one of the places where you can’t judge a book by its cover. When we arrived we were prepared to immediately go pay for a different hotel, but we gave it a chance. The room was clean and functional. Comfortable even. There was no shortage of hot water. The hotel was overall better than our stay in a more expensive place the night prior.

It’s a solid spot if you want something cheap and don’t need the bells and whistles. The important spots were clean (like bed, toilet, bath, floors), but they need to clean the walls. And the breakfast was provided but fyi it’s just muffins, coffee, and juice. Satisfied. I was comfortable and it was clean enough for a night.

Clean Staff

The room was very clean, very comfortable, and the gentleman who runs the front desk greeted me very warmly upon both entering and exiting this hotel. This was unfortunately a smoking room, and I do not smoke. The smell of smoke was minimal, but this was the only king bed available. There was no room phone, but this is not a complaint, only a bit of knowledge for anyone who reads this.

Close to highway and restaurants. Decent for 1 night stay. Wifi, and clean for the most part Needs new mattresses as mattress was warped in the middle. Room was supposed to be non smoking but had an ashtray and smelled strongly of weed. Stink bug and roach in room. Lady came up to our car begging to use our phones.

Very helpful desk staff The plumbing made a strange sound like a flying saucer. Not especially loud and easy to ignore once I figured out where it was coming from.

Mgmt was very accomodating

Location Easy access off highway. we were traveling through only. Generic older hotel. Looks sketchy from outside but was clean and average inside Good value for the money. Didn’t have a Hair dryer , tissues and or coffee in the morning

The location was good Got charged extra for dog even though Booking gave price with pets

The bathroom was clean The room was small and no coffee and it had an odor upon entering and check out time was 11 house keeping was knocking 15 mins to 10

A bed Toilet had no handle or button to flush dirty wash clothe and towel in shower

the rooms were clean. no coffee in the room. no amenities at all, I Requested the ground floor due to the fact that medical equipment we carry with us. (we are seniors). My husband had to take it up the stairs which were in bad condition.

It was a very clean room. Everything worked...ie ac was good, hot water was good, tv worked.

Location was ok Staff was ok, when we checked in we had someone outside staring at us and looking at our cars (we are moving so we have valuables in the cars) had to check on the cars all night as same person was on the same side as our room. Kept staring at us as we were getting things out of our car and heading into our room. Doesn’t seem like the safest location, but it was in a convenient spot. The room was ok. Bathroom door isn’t shut fully or lock. Bed was uncomfortable. Check in counter had a ring door bell for videoing. Didn’t see any cameras anywhere other than front desk.
