Super 8 by Wyndham Mackinaw City/Beachfront Area

Great location. Room was clean but

It could have used some updating, and our screen sliding door had rips (lots of mosquitos). We got in late and didn't get to use the pool or hot tub (but it looked nice). We did have a room with spectacular view, and that really made everything worth it. Staff was friendly/helpful. I would stay again because the location was really everything, but can't quite give it a 5.

We booked last minute for a quick stay. We had a wonderful view at the lake. It was clean and overall a nice stay.

There was an issue with the bathroom sink but was fixed quickly. Staff was very good. The floors were dirty, could use a good mopping.

The rooms were clea, beds were very nice. There is some repairs that need to be done. But livable. The balcony to the lake was great. Wonderful views.

If you care about the view, location and ignore the bugs and spider in the room, then. It’s a good place to stay. AC filter was full of dust that I have to use extra cloth on top of it to get a good air sleep

The lady at the check-in was very nice and polite. The hotel is just a money maker. They put the least possible effort into cleaning the balcony that I paid extra to have was a slab of chipboard with sticking up nails full of spiders. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. Beach was filthy trash everywhere.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and has a good and easy access to the small beach. Breakfast is only coffee and some protein bars that’s it. The room bathroom and beds were clean but room floor was dirty. I could feel the dirt while walking.

Nice stay

Overall it was okay. We only stayed for 2 nights. The room was definitely not the cleanest. The first night the shower was cold and barely got warm. The second night the shower started warm and turned ice cold. I don't know that I would stay again.

Nice enough and walkable to all of downtown. No complaints

The room did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned prior to check‑in, which was disappointing after a long trip. During my multi‑night stay, no housekeeping was done, so trash was not removed and towels and supplies were not refreshed.

Don’t in early spring bug hatch is terrible!! And they won’t refund you ! Only good thing was bed was fairly comfortable!! Furniture old and delapidated, toilet took a very long time to refill. Balcony was too scary to step out on! Even if there were no Mitch flies!! Parking was a problem ! Not enough spaces! Place has definitely out lasted its time! Don’t waste your money!!

Our room was full of flying bugs. The tub and sliding door was covered with them. There was no handicap parking by our room.
