Ok my stay was very good but the shuttle from the hospital to the hotel was unexcepibale , the driver was very rude never spoke a word and I tipped him very well to go three blocks and in the morning back to the hospital was the same I sat outside and waiting till 7:00 when the service started and I had the same driver, I asked if he could take me back to the hospital and he never said a word Igot in and not a word spoken, he was very unfriendly. That is the complaint I have.

The family rooms were spacious and included a refrigerator and microwave. There was plenty of space to store luggage and bags, and we didn't feel crowded in our room. There was a nice area to sit and lounge in the lobby and breakfast area. The hotel offers coin-laundry machines for guests. The staff was really friendly, responsive, attentive, always smiling, and helpful in answering questions, and did a good job making us feel safe and at home. The check-in/out process was seamless. When booking, we requested a "family room, but the description online was confusing. It made it sound like we were going to have a room with 4 beds, two couches, and two bathrooms. The "family room" is a larger, more spacious hotel room (sleeps 6) with a small living space and included two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a larger counter in the living area with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave. We requested an "adjoining room" when booking, but at check-in we learned that adjoining rooms weren't an available option at this location. The staff was able to get our two rooms directly across from each other. The front of the dresser in one room was covered in greasy fingerprints, and the refrigerator in the other room wasn't working properly. The carpet in one of the rooms was filthy and turned our socks black after just a few minutes. The carpet in the other room was damp, as if it had recently been steam-cleaned (hopefully that's all it was). The bathroom was big, with plenty of room, and an oval-shaped bathtub/shower, but the lighting was dim, and the walls were dark, so light didn't reflect well; the area where the toilet is feels kind of like a cave because it's in a corner where there is no overhead light. The hotel comes with a made-to-order breakfast (options: pancakes, French toast, or scrambled eggs/hash browns, with bacon or sausage as a side). The kitchen is not allergy-friendly (nuts/dairy), so one of our guests couldn't eat breakfast there. They did have 3 cereal options, yogurt, apples, bananas, and some pastry items like muffins and toast. They had juice, tea, coffee, and milk for beverage options. The breakfast itself was not great. The pancakes and French toast were passable, but the bacon was soggy, and the eggs were off... not entirely convinced they were actual eggs.

The property feels old and run down. Had a musty smell in our room. Cleanliness wasn't the best. Housekeeping did the bare minimum. The breakfast was ok.
-
The room smelled stale, the walls were paper thin, and there was a bug in my daughter’s chocolate chip muffin! Will never stay here again!
-
The room was clean. The shower was hot. The air conditioning was comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Front desk staff were helpful and friendly!

The room was clean and comfortable. Had a first floor room and we could hear people walking around in the room above us. Wasn’t all night, but we were surprised how loud the waking was.
-
The made-to-order breakfast was really nice. It was great to have fresh hot food. The beds were comfortable, and the mini kitchen was a plus. The room had a bad smell. We spoke with staff, who gave us a room deodorizer, which masked the smell briefly, but it didn't last. It smelled dirty, like animal feces. Also, in the hall by our neighbor's door was a pile of dog feces. The floors looked stained and dirty, but the rest of the room appeared clean.

Staff was very friendly and gave us extra coffee for the next morning. We didn’t have any because we stayed two nights.
-
Very clean and accommodating. Convenient location for our visit and activities. Definitely would recommend.

Our go-to place whenever we visit family/friends in the Madison area. We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. They have one of (if not the best) breakfasts ever in any hotel/motel. Fresh fruit, good coffee, made to order hot breakfast-one of the options is French toast, but it should be called Texas toast since the slices of bread are about an inch thick. The staff was outstanding, especially Steve at the front desk. The location is great, so close to the beltline to go anywhere in almost any direction. Overall I cannot think of anything that could have been better.

The size of the room was really nice--felt spacious enough to spend time + for my toddler to walk around, and nice to have the couch in addition to the bed. The bed was comfortable. Nice to have the full-size fridge available. Hotel was reasonably quiet, and a convenient location. Everything was very clean, and the elevator was nice. Also the front lobby, with VHS options in addition to the TV. There was some damage on the bottom of the bathroom door, and on the fridge doors (rust, discoloration), even though everything was functional. Also a little bit weird smell in the hallway. People make a big deal about the "made to order" breakfast, which I thought was.... fine? Not bad, but nothin to make a fuss over. If anything it felt restrictive on the few choices available + with the ticket system, and it had a weird layout, including gambling machines in the corner (why).
