Motel 6 Madison, WI - East

I have stayed in plenty of sketchy places but this one wins! Roaches, soaking wet floors, no shower curtain and bathtub water wouldn't turn off making the floor wet. Also when you walked on the wood flooring out in the room water comes up through the cracks. Homeless people in the parking lot & just plain dirty & rundown. The power stopped working to the outlets in the one whole side of the room. Just don’t stay here.

Great place but they need to clean more often

This place should be demolished. Or atleast hire an exterminator. Please don’t stay here. 7/10* ??? What an absolute joke. Non smoking room wreaked of marijuana. Soooo many other terrible things about this place, don’t want to waste my time…again, please don’t stay here.

Even getting into the building was an ordeal, with broken exterior doors that made the entire place feel rundown and insecure. Every detail suggested a property that had long since given up on even the most basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I left feeling relieved to escape, and I can't imagine ever returning.

Fast check-in

Room was filthy and when I requested a refund they denied me. I got an upgraded room. But not much of an upgrade when I hear dogs in every single room barking and howling through the night. Checked out 6 hours early. Couldn’t stay another night

Sink didn't work. Bathroom door had holes in it. The rest of the room was clean. Only stayed 1 night for a concert but I would recommend looking for something better.

Cockroaches in the bathroom and bedroom, lots of shady people hanging around the entrance. Apparently a man peed on one of my neighbors doors. Would not stay again.

There was no one at the front desk to check us in for more than 5 minutes, the hallways were dirty with garbage on the floor and they smelled of marijuana. Because the hall smelled, so did our room.

DO NOT stay here. It is not safe. I did not read the reviews before I booked--big mistake. Don't stay here, and don't use expedia since they do not value customers' safety. I won't be anymore. I can't comment anymore or it will be censored.

Drove all the way there from Michigan and they canceled my reservation no explanation, nasty, totally dont do it

Parking lot was full of loiterers and tweakers. I drove through the parking lot, decided it wasn't safe, and forfeited my $130, ended up sleeping in my car instead.

When i arrived at the 3pm check in time, no rooms were available. There were several people standing outside of the office entrance smoking. There was no furniture in the lounge area or office. The whole office was filthy. The office manager was very rude and offered no explanation on why no rooms were cleaned. At 4;30pm I asked to cancel my reservation which he agreed. He also said that Motel 6 would release my money and give me a full refund. This remains to be seen. This motel was without a doubt the worst I have ever encountered. I will never make another reservation there and recommend others to avoid this motel at any cost.

I cancell because it wasn't feel secure people drinking and looking ata us bad . Didn't feel safe . They never retur any money

This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. For starters there were a bunch of people loitering outside and in the hallways. I heard people outside my room all night and one person pulled on the door handle. The bathtub was dribbling all night. There was a bug floating in the toilet and it didn't flush. There were several flies buzzing around the room. The mattress was stained. There was no mini fridge, which I thought was standard these days. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling and there were bits of plaster all over the floor. I would maybe pay $40 for this if I had no other choice. I'm furious I paid over $100 for this dump.

The Television didnt work told Staff they said I coukd leave and get a refund which I just wanted a working TV, no phone in the room also people loitering around the building gacking at guest /visitor very uncomfortable

Killed 5 roaches in the room they gave me didn’t have a bathroom door shower water was super cold tv remote don’t work trash everywhere. Lots of homeless ppl hanging around lot of police activity lots of crackheads and prostitutes building is infested. This motel will never get another dime from me again.
