Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Manchester Airport by IHG

We were on the 3rd floor, so no hearing people above us walking. Our room was nice and quiet. We chose the Holiday Inn Express because it was close to the airport.

Amazing hotel experience. Great friendly staff.

I was also disappointed by the condition of my suite. I stayed in one of the suites with the jetted tub, but the couch was visibly stained to the point that I did not feel comfortable sitting on it. I had to cover the stains with a towel before I could use the couch. For a suite, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance.

I was suprised how clean the bathroom and the room was. We would definitely stay again because of this. Friendly front desk staff and nice breakfast.

Clean, comfortable and a good location.

The breakfast was great. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was convenient for what we needed.

This hotel seems that it was recently remodeled. It was very clean, the room had all new furniture and fixtures. The only thing I would say is when remodeling hotel rooms... tubs should be replaced not sprayed w/ epoxy or paint. The coating was coming off on the tub itself so that would be my only compliment. Staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good.

Stayed over last minute due to flight delay. Great price and newish rooms were very comfortable.

The hotel is clean, the stuff are nice and helpful. What i didn't like much is the breakfast variety, it was limited.

Unfortunately, the problems started as soon as we entered our room. When I opened the curtains to look outside, the blackout curtain fell completely out of the window. I tried several times to put it back together, but was unable to fix it. I spoke with the front desk, and the employee tried to contact maintenance, but maintenance had already left for the evening. Because our room faced the front of the building, the missing blackout curtain left us with very little privacy. I asked whether another room was available, but the hotel was full. The front desk provided us with a sheet to cover the window, which was better than nothing, but the room remained very bright throughout the night. The walls were also extremely thin. We could hear conversations from a loud neighbor on one side and the television from the room on the other side until almost midnight. At around 6:00 a.m., there was additional noise in the hallway, including loud banging and screeching sounds. There were also noticeable stains on the carpet in the room. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay. The front desk employee was kind and did what he could, but the condition of the room, lack of privacy, excessive noise, and inability to sleep made the experience very disappointing.

The property has had a recent refresh and it shows. The walls and carpet were clean. The room was in good repair.

Excellent. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to the airport. Shower was great. Loved the pillows.
