Super 8 by Wyndham Manchester Airport

They moved my luggage without prior intimation though i have one more day of booking.

They assign the rooms to new check ins even if the room is already assigned to someone.

Hotel is under renovation. Bathroom was remodeled and clean and initial flooring in entrance to room was good. The carpet was the dirtiest/stained I have ever seen. Blanket on our bed had holes in it. Sheets and towels were clean.

Clean room but the hotel itself is being renovated. The front desk people aren’t the friendliest but I’ve certainly dealt with worse at other hotels. Overall a 3 out of 5 stars

The front desk worker, a younger African American woman sat there and fought through the glass with a family who had just lost their home due to a fire, with 3 young children, when they were unaware there was a deposit since they booked it through expedia and they do not tell you about any deposit. She was extremely ignorant and disrespectful. The room was not what i would call clean. The lamps and tables were all sticky, dust everywhere, the carpets were disgusting and the bathroom counter tops and toilet certainly were not cleaned. The shower was growing mold on the seams and was discolored. The TV is as large as a desktop screen, and there is a large gap in between the door and the hallway so you can hear everything. The AC is extremely noisy and hardly works. The first floor is being worked on so there are workers and tools everywhere, drywall and dust, the entire floor and the stairways are a mess, there are needles behind the building and the shelf in the lobby looks like it hasn't been dusted since 1995. This was an emergency situation and all that was available at the time. Would not recommend staying here.

The rooms where ok but are having construction going on on the 1st floor with little noise

even though they are remodeling, no one is cleaning the floors, trash and dust off any thing. Very Very Very dirty! Our room had dog hair and dog food in it. Very dirty and very nasty

The room was not clean and had a terrible odor. There was no other room available so had to stay. Would not stay there again.

How do you charge a $50 deposit for damages when the hotel itself is already damaged? I’m going through its own renovations. Starting at the check-in staff was rude not polite, not compassionate. Hallway smell like underarms bed sheets rough

When you check in at the elevator you could see the ceiling, water pooling in the hall way where the ice machine.

Hôtel en rénovation au premier étage. Le petit-déjeuner était inclus mais honnêtement, très peu de place pour s’asseoir et très peu diversifié comme choix pain, crêpe et un choix de céréales. En résumé, pour le prix payé, ça le fait mais sans plus.

Leak in ceiling in main hall. Lots of dust and cob webs in breakfast area Fridge way small in first room Bathroom sink did not drain so they moved us to a different room but did not have another King room so they put us in a double full bed room. Carpet had a few stains Pros: Once the remodel is done it will be very nice. Room had a bit bigger fridge. Clean and in better remodeled shape. Very accommodating, moved us to a different room when we found the sink not draining and no maintenance at that time we checked in which was 8pm They are currently rent a vending the first floor so there's a lot of dust but once it's all done it will be really nice cuz they're redoing all the drywall getting rid of the 50-year-old paint. LOL

I was given the wrong room at check in. I paid for a king size bed and was given a double. The hallway had a horrendous smell to it which was a combination of horrible food and wet clothing which seeped into my room. Television remote didn’t work half the time. I did not complain because I was traveling and was so overtired I didn’t have the energy to.

Never again will I ever look at super8 to stay or refer someone I don't like to stay. It filthy insects crawling all over and let's not talk about the staff who are too busy to pay attention to anyone coming in. And to make this place even better they cancelled my entire reservation because I was late checking in one day.

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews but I must likely won't ever stay there again. As soon as you walk in you instantly notice that it stinks in there. Everything is outdated and there's hardly ever anyone at the front desk. The one guy we dealt with at check in was friendly but a man of very few words. We felt very uneasy using the elevator. Once we got to our room the odor was so bad when we opened the door that we instantly opened the window and left to let it air out. Once we got back it smelled a little better. The beds are very hard and the pillows are small and hard as well. We tried watching TV but it kept cutting out. Now for the price we paid....... I feel like it should have been a little better but you get what you pay for. This is why I usually stay at hiltons. Now I will say they were doing some sort of work on the inside so that contributed to some of the mess but the rugs and furniture still looked like it was 50 years old. I've seen hotels being remodeled that were better at "keeping it cleaned up". Now I'm not trying to discourage anyone from staying here. To each their own. Just giving my experience. It was much cheaper then any other hotel I priced out so take that into consideration when reading this review.

The public areas in the lobby were a mess due to renovation work and the lobby and floors have an odor BUT the room IU was in was indeed renovated so was very good except there was no place to hang clothing. I understand the need to do renovation but they could do a much better job of keeping the lobby area cleaner looking during construction (many place are able to do this). Also the parking lot is dark with no lights, I was almost afraid to leave my car here.
