DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel McAllen

Good

The staff was wonderful! The room was in need of multiple repairs some of which were problematic. We reserved the largest suite. One of the bedrooms when our daughter was watching TV with her cousin on the two queens beds was discovered to be infested with ants. Though staff was prompt, so many issues already that this was frustrating. We travel extensively including internationally and have stayed in top notch facilities. Though this is stunning and staff nice, however, They are very ungenerous in providing some included amenities that most all chains give freely. They price gouge as well which is intolerable when you know what all other chains provide.Truly sad!

We didn’t get to taste it I had submitted the breakfast with my booking option and when I called front desk they told me we didn’t have it was kinda disappointing but over all was a great experience

The room was unclean, very little hot water, outlets didn’t work, and fixtures were falling off the ceiling.

The staff here were so welcoming, so polite so kind what a little gem

The front office staff was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel did seem understaffed.

Rooms are very clean. And the staff is wonderful.

Facilities to old ! And stayed 2 nights and never went housekeeping. Carpet to old and building as well

Breakfast was disgusting so I guess I paid $18 plus for coffee, fruits and yogurt.

Everything was good

She got mad at me for it then brought it to me. She gave me a dbl bed room (I had a king suite). She also put me on the other side of the hotel, so I had a long way to go. When she got to my room, she was very rude to me. By the time I got to my new room, the room was hot and took hours to cool. When I finally got back to sleep it was 5am and I had to be up at 630am. Its a long day business trip and Im a zombie today. No one from the hotel offered any kind of assistance, or offered a remedy, I had the demand a new room.
